Title: which pool to mine with block erupter blade 10 gh/s?
Post by: pedromaster88 on October 31, 2013, 02:54:09 PM
hi everyone!

i've bought an asic block erupter blade with 10 gh/s.

now i'm connected to triplemining pool but the block discovery is not too fast like other pool like btcguld or slush pool.

in triplemining the reward is claculated with pplns method so for and "n" is 24 hours. for block that is discovered in 24h or less it is great but a lot of blocks require more than 30h so the profitability gone away.

can you suggest some pools that will be fine for my asic miner?

thanks all!!

also if you don't have to pay power cost? :)

so, if i have only the cost of the hardware, are there some asic that is profitable?

and, to remain on the topic, which pool is best for an asic of 10gh/s?

No, cost of power isn't very relevant with efficient ASICS. Not paying for power is not that much of an advantage any more. You can't get a good price on hardware right now, or maybe you can  ;)
Either way, if there is a profitable way to mine right now nobody is going to share that info with you for free. You need to do the research and risk taking yourself.

Why are you not using BTCguild or slush?

well, i hope to find some way :D

Because i thinked that triplemining was best on 24h avg revenue but probably i'm wrong.

i've looked for some pool and the candidates pool for my next choise seems to be eligious and as you said btcguild and slush.. i'm looking for someone that have already been in my situations and can explain me what pool and so what reward method is best for and asic..

Go with the big pools, there's a reason people gravitate to them. Some probably say it's psychological, as they should all pay close to the same, but I say it's because the pool runs well and hardly ever goes down.

A hash is a hash, doesn't matter if it comes from a CPU, GPU, or ASIC. The bigger better pools might handle traffic/shares from ASICS better, but with pool difficulty settings I doubt that's an issue.
