Title: Cubieboard 2 / OS? Post by: Pyr3x on November 01, 2013, 04:12:19 AM Does anyone know of an OS with bfgminer or cgminer for a Cubieboard 2?

Post by: Pyr3x on November 02, 2013, 08:29:56 AM So I managed to compile the latest version of bfgminer on a bare distro. I am going to dump an image of the OS tomorrow if anyone is interested. Right now I have it managing all my BFL equipment and it's doing quite well!

I was just looking into the CubieBoard2 (and 3 (http://cubieboard.org/tag/cubieboard3/)) since the Pi just doesn't seem to cut it with some devices. The CubeBoard2 is a tad flaky at the moment, more work needs to go into kernel support from the manufacturer whereas the Pi has very mature support. If I were to pick any of the three though it would be the Beaglebone Black. Neil Title: Re: Cubieboard 2 / OS? Post by: HellDiverUK on January 08, 2014, 08:35:04 AM Confirmed about the BeagleBone Black. My primary miner is now my BeagleBone Black (running a bare Debian install), and it works well. I have a number of USB devices running off it (even got a USB3 hub working well) - it's a FAR better machine than the Pi.
