My friend introduce me about the airdrop campaign, it is good, but you can only have a small amount of alt coin for every airdrop, and the price equivalence of it in the market is just minimal. And in terms in participating on it, some airdrop is a time consuming. May I ask does participating on it gain big earnings?

It actually depends on the airdrop if the airdrop requires holding ex: you need atleast 0.1 ETH to join airdrop that'll give you quite big earnings. But if you're participating on an airdrop that only requires you to signup then don't expect much.

In general, Airdrops are simply a marketing tool to attract attention to an ICO.  While some campaigns offer a fixed number of tokens, others offer a share of a token pool. 

The fixed number campaigns are generally worth between $1 and $20 in equivalent fiat value worth of tokens; however, there are the rare exceptions, such as Polymath and Helbiz, where the value of the tokens received is worth over $100.  In general, you can expect to receive only a few dollars worth, but you never quite know what the future value of them will be, particularly if the project is successful.

If the airdrop is a share of a token pool, then the more successful the marketing campaign, the fewer tokens you will receive.  Considering the whole goal is to spread the word and attract potential investors, these campaigns inevitably only give a small return. 

Nowadays airdrops has very low chance to be a profitable.Its more like you take part in 100 airdrops and win $100 in best case. I think its more better to take part in bounty, but it takes more time then airdrops.

Its really little now unlike last year when its starting to get notice and popular. Now almost airdrop got fixed price on what the participants will recieve. But still you can get big rewards cause others still airdroping big. I participated before to many airdrop that got me big rewards .

airdrop for me only a small advantage. If you want more you can try to invest or enter into the bounty. the bounty is also without capital and I think it is much more promising than the airdrop.

Don't loose your time at it. Airdrops are not profitable any way. Even bounty campanies don't give enough profit and lost your time. It's better to  analyze projects carefully and take a part in several worthy of them with hard conditions but with high rewards. For example my signature bounty BeEasy ico is one of them.

airdrops has very low profit right now ,many of them just want to their project  promotion ,when i see the words airdrop ,i just give up.

I received about 6801 TKY from an airdrop/bounty from THEKEY earlier this year. Although I don't remember the specifics of the airdrop, but I am pretty sure it didn't involve doing any task. That's about ~$100 in current market value.

Yes I think airdrop has very small coins, so I think achieving in airdrop is not a good thing, it's just a waste of time.

as long as i participate in airdrop so far i have not got big and very little profit .. but you have to try it to participate in it, i suggest also, you should try bounty program if you want big profits and you also have to be patient, because bounty takes long time.

the air catwalk is still able to rely on to get a reward that is quite satisfactory but it depends on the airdrop where we join the good because for me if now the airdrop only a few who still give big rewards very different from last year

I joined some airdrop and they gave us tokens. But until now the tokens that i receive have no value at all. So for me airdrops are just waste of time.

I think some of the airdrops right now are just a mere scam, and if it does give you token it'll have no value in the end. So I guess, airdrops right now is just a waste of time and effort. Wouldn't be spending my time liking their twitter page, etc. just for a "no value" token.

yes, I agree with you about participating in bounty more profitable than to follow the less favourable. do not waste your time, immediately join the bounty and enjoy the benefits. I hope you are successful with bounty.

I had joined many airdrops in the past. And base from my experience. I receive high payouts when i sold my tokens. Like the token i receive from ethereum blue and tokenbox. But some tokens that i receive have no value until now.

Yes of course some of airdrops are like that I mean it get them big rewards when the currency that they earn is much valued to the currency that they have in their country like here in my country my friend has a classmate that earn in airdrop that has a bigger value here in my country that's why I'm also participating more airdrop now to earn more profit.

way back then, the only airdrop that really gives me a good earning is eBTC, after the distribution, 4-5 days the value of eBTC pump and i shock that i will earn that good amount from airdrop. after eBTC no one in all airdrops now can gives a good amount like eBTC did before. and they are all good as penny or some time the value is enough to buy a single candy in a store, meaning not too much time consuming with a small amount of reward you can get, atleast you can get one, lol

At this time so much airdrop was released and it was no better than bounty.
Now an airdrop is just a garbage. Only a handful of airdrop is managed seriously that can compete and get a good market.

In my opinion, joining a bounty is better and more profitable than airdrop.

Last year you can get high rewards from the airdrop but right now dont expect so much about the airdrop because some of them are just scam which you needed to donate and you can the tokens and also airdrop are not profitable right now you better try doing some bounty campaign

No,until now the only airdrop where I participated and got quite a lot of money is the etc airdrop last year when airdrop is booming. After that there's several eToken airdrops that are quite valuable but after some time the token from airdrop become useless and has no value so it is definitely not worth your time.

Don't expect you receive a big value from joining airdrop just only giving you without working but if you want enough value you just try joining in bounty campaign but you will require to work until the end of the project or else you invest in successful ICO's expect this you receive a good profit.

The DeepOnion airdrop campaign has been awesome and during the massive bull run in December my coins were worth nearly $300,000.  The price has fallen since then but I'm confident they'll recover.  So yes airdrops can be lucrative but it does take work.  Ideally you find a project you believe in so you're working for a believed outcome not just money.

Till now, for the airdrop that I received, it is all very small amount. Maybe I entered late to the market and missed some good opportunities. Sometimes it is just a matter of luck.

As far as i know bounty campaigns are much better than joining these free airdrops because there are less chances that these airdrop tokens will be listed into exchanges, that is why it is recommended to join bounty campaigns over these airdrops because these tokens from bounty campaigns has better chance to get listed in major exchanges.

Do not expect big profits with these free airdrops because most of the tokens you will get are worthless,because these tokens are from unverfiied developers who are only using these airdrops to collect data from the people,most of them will require your email address and use it to send you phishing links that is why it is recommended not to use your main email addresses with these airdrops.

Got some good rewards from previous airdrops I joined in.  Although now it's not that profitable but what have you got to lose?  The requirements to join is very simple, a few social media shares, to join the telegram group and a sign-up.  A few minutes of your time, you get tokens and maybe, just maybe one or two of those will be of good value.

You cannot get a decent amount of profits with these free airdrops because obviously free wont give you anything that can satisfied your needs,join bounty campaigns instead because as far as i know these bounty campaigns can give you $300- $1k per campaign if we are talking about signature campaigns,social media campaigns are profitable when you have good number of followers in your account.

You won't get much from airdrops because they only give out in small portions and most of these tokens don't even have that much value even if they reach the exchanges. Some don't even make it to the exchanges, so the airdrops don't provide much value at all. Airdrops were said to be profitable in the past, however it's not the same now and most are just a waste of time because you won't really gain much.

Some coins from airdrop have high selling value, But a lot of coins are worthless. the ratio is very large, of the 10 types of coin obtained may be only 1 coin is valuable.

Believe me you wont get any good rewards from these free airdrops because most of these tokens wont make it  to exchanges that is why it is recommended to participate with the bounty campaigns instead because you could have $1k or more every campaign you are doing here in bitcointalk and it depends on the manager,or the stakes allocation of the campaign.

Maybe it is possible that in the boom period the Coin that you have got from Airdrop now make you heavy rich. The participation is very easy just fill a g-form and you will get the free coin. So, this is the must-have participation program. Also, I got to know from this BTT that someone makes a profit of above $3000 only by this Airdrop in a day only.

Airdrop rewards are comparatively small regardless of how they promised, have participated in many airdrops but I can't pick out the best one because I don't normally have the luxury. I have many Altcoin from Airdrop which are not yet traded in market.

Nope i was participating in airdrops when i was started in cryptocurrency things,that is why i am a living proof that these tokens are mostly worthless and only few of them are going to have some value especially those tokens which came from a legit team which is very rare with these days.Instead of trying to make money from airdrops why not bounty hunting instead because it is much more profitable than these airdrops.

Not going to be profitable because these tokens came from unverified or unknown developers in the market,that is why most of these tokens wont get into exchanges because they might be trying to steal people's stakes from the bounty campaign that we have joined.You should try to do participate bounty campaigns instead of these shitty projects in the world because bounties could give you $1K + instantly that depends on the bounty you have joined.

If you asked me,you wont have good rewards from these free airdrops and it isnt worth your time,bounty campaign is much better because you will get decent amount of tokens from these ICOs that might be sold with good value few months or years after the ICO has ended,you should try it too because you wont risk anything but your time and effort.

Investing time airdrops will not give big reward to you as well as they asked you to use the social media accounts. Hence there you may loose the private details for the cheap airdrop tokens, instead of that bounty campaigns are best option for we all the people.
Even they would ask you the KYC information while distributing the tokens to us.
Just check the good manager and join the bounty campaign, much better income for you.

You shouldnt be wasting your time and effort with these free airdrops because most of the tokens you will get from these drops arent going to have any good value in the future,that is why it is still the best to join bounty campaigns because these bounties has more potential to grow compare to these free airdrop tokens ,doesnt worth the hassle if i may say so myself.

Well to be honest bounty campaigns pays a lot more than airdrop campaigns and also some airdrop campaigns are fake and some are pretty much cheats you because even though that you have all the requirements and do all the steps in order to join in airdrop you will still not receving any tokens and also, the price will likely to lower since many people will dump their earned coins from the airdrops after the day the coin was listed to the exchange.

Sometimes we may get good valuable coins from airdrops but this is not that big reward. I always go for the airdrops but i have not got big profit till now but i am sure that one day i might get chance to get good reward.

Most of the airdrops that I participated were either useless or scam. But there was only 1 which worth all of them - Ontology. Everyone who got whitelisted and passed KYC received 1000 ONT. Then if you deposited them to Binance, you would get another 1000 from the exchange airdrop. Check the ONT price and see how much this airdrop costs now.

Most of airdrops don't have ICO or projects. Just another shitcoin flooding the market and it's not healthy for Cryptocurrencies future.
Anyway, i didn't see any profitable airdrop lately, i prefer bounty campaigns.

I can not say that I had it, I know what it was like for those people who now hold coins nem, unless of course they did not merge them, because before, just NEM gave out a huge number of coins to people.

99% from airdrops are dead tokens before there go live on exchanges or they will not list on a exchanges.

I participated in many airdrops earlier, but i was got sick of it. every day appear dozens of airdrops and it took 5-10 minutes to fill the form or perform a task. This is not too much, if you are sure the project is worth. but when 99% of these airdrops is absolutely garbage.. I decided this is not worth my time.

You kind of answered the question yourself. The purpose of the airdrop is just to create awareness about the project with the aim that investors can be encouraged to participate on the presale or ICO. If you need big gains, then you can either invest or signup for a bounty where you work towards bringing participants to the project

I also participated in airdrop but i did not got big reward. In my view airdrop participation is killing of time, Bounty is batter option because you can plan you day and time with bounty work.

Well, i dont really understand what you mean but maybe you try to say that airdrop would be like big money if we are staying at the country which has low currency.  Yes i think its true.
However, we will try to say in general, participate and get reward from airdrop is not big now and its not like before. So we need more to participate to get more value of our airdrop.

I've participated in big amount of airdrops and majority of these airdropped tokens worth ~0.1$. But some (~2%) of them bring 5-10$.

Participating in airdrop definitely can give you big rewards some time but the rate of getting big rewards is very rare. You can either have your own airdrop group or channel to increase the amount of tokens you will receive per airdrop you do or join a very active airdrop group and do every airdrop and hope the tokens value will moon.

by joining airdrop some project gave only a small amount of coins or token. i think its only wasting your time because if you trade those little amount of token you only consuming gas or trade fees at last you did not earn any profits.

That's right, and since it's a marketing tool, you can expect that you can't get that much from it because it is aimed to saturate the market with coins. So, instead of giving big chunks of coins to a few people, developers go for the other side of the coin and give a few to more people. That way, they can introduce their coins to more people, which would give a chance for their coins to be used in transactions, therefore, adding to its usage rate, and ultimately, value.

    I have joined several airdrops lately but I've only received tokens from two different campaigns. They do not have value as of now, too. Based on what I have read nowadays the rewards earned through airdrops are not the big.

I haven’t earned anything from an airdrop yet. But I did receive some tokens from an airdrop I joined about 3 months ago. Kept it in MEW up to this time. Didn’t pay much attention to it until the other day when I saw an article saying that holders of that token will be receiving some rewards. So I am a bit excited because of that news. But I’m not expecting much. Better to set my expectations at a low so not to be disappointed just in case it does not turn out pretty.                                        

Participating in airdrops usually is a waste of time, they are only make those airdrops so that they can attract some people, and to earn something without doing anything. I may suggest to partcipate in bounty instead of airdrops.

As far as I know about an airdrop is just like a small giveaways that will make you interested in that campaign. You will never gain a big amount in an irdrop because the focus of the campaign is in the signature campaign. You you want to earn big work hard in the signature campaign.

Airdrop is created and meant only for the creator of Airdrop to have a larger share of his Airdrop so that he can dump it on the crowd that believes they are getting free money! ICO is better becuse everyone is invested!

Last year, I participated for some airdrops and it really gave me an amount of reward that I never imagined that I will get for free. But I regret now for not selling it last year because all of the tokens that I got from airdrops had a price decreased today, i chose to hold them believing that they would get more value. Good airdrops really give you high rewards once they get a value in the market.

But I have a friend who is doing this and he claims that he earns very well and spends very little time on it.

in my experience ,I was so lucky before that some of my tokens has a value so i earn.
and now i lost my hope i have a lot of token in my wallet and it came from airdrops but you know it was few pieces only and until now there is no value.

some airdrop will give you a huge profit and some just give you almost nothing, it will depend of the value of the token when they release it on the market.

am not sure of that,,,most airdrop will give huge token but after the collection it will take some time before it get into exchange

sorry to tell you i'm not discouraged you about how get earning in airdrop specially to earn pre token or coins without any investment to contribute, airdrop for me is wasting time, if giving me a choices between the faucet and airdrops i choose faucet, but both are wasting time but in faucet they have sure earning than to airdrop, thats only my experience joining in airdrops.

Most times, participating in airdrop is waste of time. Although in rare cases you may find a very good airdrop that will earn you a great deal of reward, but this is on rare occasions. I have also noticed a trend  in airdrops that we have these days. Airdrops are not like they used to be and that is more reason i no more participate in airdrop campaigns. The rewards are now so little, compared to what we had some months back, precisely last 2017 and in some years back. Another reason i more participate in airdrop is that, there are too many scams.

Its true when we are participating airdrop we only can get a little amount of money. All of them give us just small amount and its not big amount.
However, if we can collect more airdrop so we can can more money.  So only participate in many project would give us chance to gain more.

Instead joining airdrop, I am better joining bounty program. Not many airdrop give  a lot token. Many airdrop dont have legit dev but many airdrop have good project. I am prefer join bounty program rather than airdrop

To be honest, of all of airdrops I have joined, I only got $10 USD from experty. They are the only who fulfilled their promise. Kudos to them. The amount was small but keeping your word is whats more important.  I heard that they are receiving tons of money from airdrop before. Rewards from airdrop got lower since there's a lot of participants now compared to few years ago.

I have a different experience in airdrops when it comes to time frame, airdrops usually takes only 2-3 weeks and that's not much if compared to the usual bounty campaigns, which may take you around 2-3 months or more.
However, I concur that rewards are minimal.

Airdrops before gives you good rewards but now its not worth it anymore. Maybe some airdrops are but almost every airdrops now either gives you dump coins with little to almost no value coins and some airdrops are scams. Biggest from airdrop till date is proxy given good amount of token I sold that for 1.5 ether around 1200$ I hot all me from proxy , now they are airdropping eprxy token for prixybyolen holders  even tied up with ebtc.

i never tried joining or participating in any airdrops and as what i am seeing in most of topics that it was only a scam and nothing that serious..i guess much better joining bounty instead of airdrops atleast bounty campaign requires you to work so it's reasonable to accept payments than airdrops that has no job offer

Value of airdrops are low and some distribute only small amount and some airdrop dont distribute tokens they are just scam so i guess participating in bounty campaigns is more profitable than airdrops.

Airdrop from the ICO project appears a lot every day, but a few of all successful ICOs and you can get their Token. Airdrop is also a way to promote the project, but it does not bring too many good results and few successful projects from airdrop events.

This is of course a low probability time. Last year when ico prices were relatively high, so the return was good, but many projects this year are not successful enough to raise funds and prices are low. The current revenue is much less.

I have filled dozens of Airdrop form but most of the Airdrops don't give me a good reward or either they are worthless. There are maximum Airdrops are scam and filling them is a waste of time.
But from all Airdrops, i also got one Airdrop in huge quantity with good price.
Although i think Bounty is the best way to get reward in form of coins.

airdrop is a program to share tokens for free. however, logical analyzes of things that are free of charge will not always be profitable. so, most airdrop only for promotional tools before ico is held. there is also an airdrop that does not have a road map and white paper is mostly useless.

sometimes there are some big gains on it.  Especially when the project achieve their goals,  but  it depends 'cause sometimes there are some not trustworthy airdrop which is there's no distribution after the pre-sale or initial coin offering , well no regrets cause it's just a simple task. Lol

I can't really say emphatically if joining airdrops is rewarding because I haven't gotten any reward from it yet.  I just joined one recently and not until I receive the token I'll be able to know if it's profitable

As a rule, airdrops do not bring significant profits, if only lucky. Therefore, I prefer to participate in a subscription bounty, where you can earn.

Since its free because it is given as a reward for bitcoin or etherium holders we cant expect it  to be in huge amount. Other airdrops were scam the tokens they were giving was no value so if you want to earn bitcoin you must better work in bounty then trade the tokens you get there..

nope. airdrop rewards today are small and sometimes they do not pay you. if their are to many participant that join airdrop the reward would be divide all over to them that is if they don't say the exact reward for each participants. it is free anyway and you will only loss your time. better join bounty campaign if you want to earn big.

No, you will not make large sums by doing airdrops. What is more likely is you will fill your wallet with many small sums that are barely worth the fees involved in selling. If you really want to make money in cryptocurrencies by completing tasks then the best way is bounties.

I dont recommend to waste your time on airdrops. Some of the members earned much in the past but I havent seen anyone who earned much for a long time. It is a matter of luck. You may earn 100 $ from a single airdrop or you may earn nothing from 100 airdrops.

The reward is decent enough but it was too small if you are expecting a huge amount, it is better to work on signature campaign or applying for a translation more than expecting a big reward for an airdrop.

Airdrop usually give only penny and is not worth the wait. It would be better if ICO will realized that many people already stop doing airdrops because it is just a waste of time.

Actually, not that much, airdrops is a free bounty campaign that is looking for the supporter of the community and because of that, we can earn cryptocurrency easily and start trading in the market.

Out of 100+ airdrop campaigns that I participated in, hardly did I ever get more than 20$ from any airdrop. Most of the coins were shitty and had no monetary value.
This is the reason why I have stopped enrolling myself in airdrop campaigns and I concentrate on bounties.

There are different airdrops, some where you'll never get any coins, some where they'll be worthless, and some where you'll really get dozens, sometimes hundreds, and if you're lucky, even thousands of dollars. Try to look for bounties instead of airdrops, where you have to invest some time and promote the coin (a bit more than do a single retweet or similar), those pay more and again, if you get lucky, some used to pay peoples' mortgages back in January. You also have to sell in the right moment, near the top of the cycle, and the new cycle just keeps getting delayed :(

Yes, I got. Did you hear about Hydro Airdrop? About three months ago it held. Almost everyone got 200K Hydro coin from the airdrop. After hitting on the exchange, 200K Hydro was 3K USD Equal! Yes you are right, there are several good bounty air drops before which is really profitable but now a days, most of the airdrops are scam and fake links to hack your wallet.

Actually most of all Airdrops that I've joined in my almost 1 year of participating in airdrops is just full of worthless coins. Yes, if the ico project was legit and successful then be happy and great cause it will have a great rewards or bonuses that you will really appreciate. But not all Airdrops are worth the time because yes you will get the tokens but they are not going to be on exchanges. I have some coins that are literally just their in my wallet for almost a year already and no more updates with the project. Godbless with participating in airdrop, there's nothing wrong in participating in all airdrop that will come, but if you want your wallet to be more in a positive way then better research first the project before participating.

That's right and participating airdrop never give interest though. Airdrop before is good as they fulfill their promises into the participants but it's totally different now, mostly they just gone once people are asking their rewards. There are some airdrops that are worth it of participating, and it just happen to me, when I joined a certain airdrop and I was so lucky because that airdrop have give me a huge amount when I sell it.

What you said is the true fact of current Airdrop situation. Last year Airdrop joining was easy and task involved is low and participants were also low so distribution of Airdrop was high and when they get listed you get good returns. But today Participating Airdrop needs lot of tasks and the return is like penny as lot of participants are their due to it the split of bounty is low and when the coin get listed the price is very low and selling airdrop coins is useless.

IMO, participating in the Airdrop campaign will only waste your time if you are too focused there, maybe if it's just to fill your free time, then I don't think it's a problem. There are many airdrop campaigns and you have to choose among the many airdrop campaigns that are likely to be successful in the future, it will be very difficult and moreover their token prices may not have a decent value later, even though there are still those who do have good success.

To be Honest,99% of airdrops are scams and waste of time.Most times you will end up collecting  valueless shitcoins or tokens.The price of those tokens will not even cover your gas or exchange fee .There are some real airdrops that can make you some money.Example: Nano/XRP. I have collected over 2000 coins during distribution a year back.Nano was around $30 at all time high.

In some ways, i do agree with you sir. but personally speaking, i wasn't given the opportunity to acquire huge rewards from airdrops simply because majority of the rewarded tokens were very nominal. Not very big but I have being do g the privcy airdop and so far they have been paying out all of the coins as they have promised every week. The coins are a good value now but I believe in the coin and know that with time there will better prices and it is the only airdrop that I have done with really good gains in a long time.

Yes, for the beginner it is very good to get Airdrop but at the same time if they failed to get the token will definitely lose their hope in the market. Now, most of the people are not showing interest towards Airdrops because for little money they are asking KYC procedure.

Way back last year when airdrop is literally a free money, people here really got some decent amount, maybe not that big but who cares, it's just free and besides the rules are easy, just fill out the form and wait for it, no need to retweet nor share their posts. But this yrar airdrops are just full of shitcoins and you'll consider yourself lucky if you trade it to $50. lol.

You guys should stop wasting your time and just work your asses.

Right now participating in an airdrop is a waste of time even though you only used a small portion of your time. Most of them are shit coins and some of them are scam nowadays. Do bounties instead.

In fact, it is possible, no one can tell you right away whether the project will be successful or not, therefore my advice to you is to participate in all airdrop, as this can bring you a good profit in the future.
