I would say avoid the news sources in this market, because they have been the main contributor of panic and fear in the last months. The level of (paid) bias they throw in each and every article is astonishing and unhealthy. I usually just keep an eye on what's happening on Twitter and Reddit, but even here the shilling has almost overtaken any legitimate bit of information.

Sites with the most shittles and (paid) bias, and thus probably best to avoid, unless you do some proper research yourself regarding each subject;

CCN (paid content slut mainly).
Bitcoin.com (quite often anti Bitcoin content).
Coindesk (paid content slut mainly).

And avoid the mainstream media news sources, they go beyond everything with their anti Bitcoin campaigns.

Check that above site, it is like a twitter for cryptocurrencies. You will get a lot of latest news to read and it is posted by people, not by any one person.

But nowadays I stop following very closely markets because just waiting for markets to go up and holding tight all my coins.

I wonder what is the fastest? Reddit subreddits are definitely faster than news outlets, there are also a couple TG channels, but those are mostly biased.

Podcasts and youtube videos are great to keep up with the big news, but if you plan to use them to trade, it's not the best support, because they often come out late and as everything goes very fast in the crypto... And generally, you will arrive after everyone if you keep only this support. The fastest is still twitter!

Didn't find any reason/s why youtube will be included on the options. While news for videos there are usually late.
I will still recommend coindesk, bitcoin.com and cointelegraph only for news/media, not for any other articles there but of course, always beware with fuds.

Usually I just google "Bitcoin", "cryptocurrency" or anything else I want to read about and go to the News tab. It's easier than having to go through multiple websites and keep reading repeated news.

The sad part is that it's pretty hard to find an article that is worth my time. Most of those websites tend to either shill shit-ICO's for money or FUD Bitcoin.

Keep track of the mainstream media of the project or crypto you want to join for the latest news. For general market information, you can look at big forums such as Bitcointalk, the prestigious financial news because most of the news is created for the purpose of cryptocurrency. .

In case if want to update yourself from crypto world then try out google search so that you will find good news. In case if you are finding scams sites then that is what you can know about. You are wise enough to know which are real and scams sites.

You can connect your self with experts so they will update you what to do. Bitcointalk forum will guide you and will put light on what you need to know about.

OP, use the Google news search. Typing in a simple keywords like "Bitcoin", "cryptocurrencies", "altcoins" and others will give you the latest results you want.

Plus do not make the common mistake of checking only the first page of the search. Haha.

I have to say I avoid all these chanels. They are often full of misleading sometimes completely wrong information and it's hard to tell whic actualy have some ground in true analysis and knowledge and which are only uneducated guessing.
You can't believe that is true everything that is written somwhere.

I agree Google is one of the best options for searching any news. but once you enter your question it will give you all results which are related to your question in that how can you identify which result is showing correct news and which is false news.

Suppose every page shows different answers then what to do?  :) obviously, we will get both positive and negative results.

I usually google key words to find out the News. No matter good or bad news related to your topic, it will come out for you. I also read reddit.com regarding specific crypto-currencies. Then I'll aggregate the News and identify which is fake news to make decision in the trading market.

Obviously here, on Bitcoin Talk. Usually I also type on google what I'd like to know regarding crypto currencies and just select the News option. I discuss with a lot of my friends as they are as well big into digital currencies, but don't rely on either here, google news or my friends. You really can't know how a coin will move on the market, so everything in general is personal preference. How you think a coin will do, its all you, I don't recommend listening to sites.

You can actually find them in Google by typing "bitcoin" and click News easily. You should find latest news about it there. Also note, that don't believe everything you read from the news without doing your own research.

When it comes to crypto, I used to get pure updates from Twitter. I followed great crypto traders with awesome skills in charting and technical analysis. Youtube is also a good one. Lastly the best among the best is Bitcointalk.org. This forum has a good and updated source of news either FUD or FOMO.

Better to read than to listen to those lies that they will tell.
I would rather look at the opinion of real holders than those wannabe's who are just making assumptions of what will happen.
Here is the better place. You will just need to be patient with how much you read sometimes which makes you stress out just by understanding it.  ;D

I do cointelegraph most of the time. But to be honest, I am a fan of the mainstream media. To me, hearing the latter is still what I need to validate me regarding what is happening around. It is like a common ground to each and everyone across borders. Some people may say the mainstream media like CNN, BBC, among others, are paid companies that only broadcast those their companies have a business interest with. But you know, at the end of each day, I still feel fulfilled listening to it because to me it is a language we all speak. It is a common denominator to human race that is deeply engraved as part of our culture. How can we ever get rid of culture any less than killing it, right?

when it comes to trading (since we are in the respective board) you don't really need to focus much on the news but on the charts themselves. specially when you are trading altcoins. there isn't much news about altcoins and not to mention all the sources that are on some sort of social media like twitter, facebook, youtube and even this forum are posted by people who are spreading nonsense, at least most of them do anyways.

Title: Re: What are your news sources?

I always take the latest news from this Bitcointalk forum source and also Reddit, besides I take reference news comparison of twitter crypto hot news. We need to be more selective in picking up news sources because the news that contains FUD quickly spreads in some websites and social media, so we need comprehensive news comparisons.

Yes that is right most of the time people spread false news which really make too much panic in the market, so it is too much important that we should study the market and after getting conformation should take a step, because some time we receive a big lost even there is nothing wrong to happen in the market, I think those people who have good experience never give attention to such bad and false news, and that is the reason that they mostly remain safe from big lost.

I have been going to Youtube and Google to find out the latest about Bitcoin. Stanford university is really into the topic and has been publishing interesting articles on Bitcoin since long. Besides, there are some Bitcoin billionaires who really gives you something new to learn each time you visit their pages on Facebook or Twitter. Besides, your own experience also counts a lot and guides you in decision making.

Chrome mobile or google have its feature in mobile that news appears at start of the app related to everything we recently or we most searched, it is like a article suggestion there are updated clips , blogs and news that can be seen easily. Id always see Rappler, CCN, coindesk and local news there. It's a bit easy to keep updated in an instant.

The issue with these news sources is that most news releases have no effect on price.

And when there is something major, usually the market will move before you can read the headline and make a trade.

It's no different than the employment numbers that are released monthly. Sure if employment is good, you can profit off it by going long, however by the time the numbers reach you, it will already be too late.

The website I trusted the most for the hottest and latest news on cryptocurrency is Coindesk (https://www.coindesk.com/). Check it out, that one is a reliable source for me.

But actually, I do not only use Coindesk because this forum is also a source of crypto-related news as well as crypto group pages on facebook but I'll make sure that the news posted have a reference first before I read it to prove that it is is not fake.

For me, I mostly get the information here in this forum and just all over the internet. I also sometimes watch videos from YouTube posted by seasoned cryptocurrency users when they share their experiences and tips that could help newer users. What's important is you compare the information you get with all other sources at your disposal, because in the internet, you know that any information can be posted, but it's reliability is always up for discussion and your sound judgment.

This forum is where I get news because I find it tedious to look for other websites when in fact I can see them here. I can get news here as long as the news posted provides a reference link from a reliable website. This is a good place not just to read news but to know other people's insights about it and to share your own. Just make sure that the news aren't tell-taled. Some news here are basically FUDs and rumors. Do not instantly believe if the user does not want to share his or her reference link. That is probably a scam or a fake news!
