Title: I blew up my single is there anything i can do ? Post by: QualitySeeds on November 03, 2013, 02:40:15 PM I was flashing my single (did it before and before)
But i made a big mistake i overlooked 2pins off the jtag (Stupid me) sow i connect it wrong and blew the 3.3 volt regulator (chip with 8 legs) U15 Is there anything i can do i have equipment to replace parts please reply if you do know something that could help me or if there is nothing that can be done (same post on bfl forum) Title: Re: I blew up my single is there anything i can do ? Post by: vm1990 on November 03, 2013, 08:14:54 PM from the looks of it its just the chip which took the punishment. if you can find out what chip it is you should be able to get a new on and it should still work.. you should also be able to do it yourself if youve userd a soldering iron. its a pretty easy chip to replace but sadly i dont have a BFL SC so cant tell you what chip you need

I just ebay'd the part number and ordered one from there. It arrived in a couple of weeks. I've got someone soldering it for me now :) Hope that helps.
