Title: I was soaring in a balloon Post by: dank on November 03, 2013, 04:08:01 PM I took a blue party balloon and pulled it over my feet and stuck my arms through it. I jumped down a little hill and I would soar to the bottom. I was able to increase speed by moving my arms or blowing into the balloon. Once I really got going (we went to my friends house), I was soaring through a forest of tall trees, probably pines. I had complete control over my trajectory, like a bird. It was way more fun than flying in a dream, flying in a balloon allows you to react to the air around you in a unique, controllable, way.
I remember saying that I would jump off a building in downtown Raleigh in the balloon. I didn't do it then but I flew the balloon back to my friends house, where it popped upon hitting the top of the garage. This is what life can be like.
