Title: What is wrong with Bread Wallet. Accepts other coins but still no Segwit?

Released full BCH support, giving users access to coins from the August 2017 fork.

Released initial SegWit capability supporting the ability to send BTC to bech32 addresses, and laying the foundation for full SegWit functionality going forward.

What's next?

The next release is targeted for the first week of April, when the app will fully support Ethereum, in addition to bitcoin and bitcoin cash, all decentralized.

I deleted Breadwallet from both my smartphones, and I'm now in search for another coin wallet app for IOS and Android. If anyone has a suggestion please post them in the thread.

Although I believe the best choice is Greenaddress, I would nevertheless be open to other apps.

If you are planning to hold different coins and token, I suggest that you switch to coinomi wallet because they also support Segwit addresses both P2PWKH-P2SH and Bech32 few weeks ago and I never had any problem using this wallet for a long time. It supports android smartphone and Iphone.

just always make sure that you save seed phrase and private key for your future recovery.
Green address is also good only for Iphone and coinomi is also good in android OS. You can test them both if what wallet that fits to your needs.

Here is the correct page of coinomi wallet https://coinomi.com/

I see there are options between coinomi and Greenaddress wallets. But if you ask me, I think Greenaddress will win and the main reason for winning is security.
"Our two-factor authentication system is a security measure that we include to ensure that even if a malicious party steals your mnemonics, they cannot access your wallet and steal your funds.[1] (https://greenaddress.it/en/faq.html)" While the excuse of coinomi's wallet seems silly
also, Greenaddress support P2SH & P2PKH which seems appropriate due to the lack of the use of Bech32.

It's quite surprising how shit the choice is on Ios.

I tried Greenaddress. There was something about it I didn't like all that much.

Coinomi works well but it's not fully open source. Though I believe the code is available to review, you can't do anything with it. I don't really care myself. That would be my choice.

It's a great shame Mycelium seem to have given up on life, Segwit and their IoS implementation. That's still my fave of all.

I heard a story about Coinomi of not handling an issue professionally when a user posted a vulnerability in social media and Github. Is that true?

At any rate, Greenaddress looks like it's the winner.
