Title: Stake Mods Abuse of Power Towards Players
Post by: ccc222 on April 03, 2018, 11:29:11 PM
Stake Casino

So Im here to come to a consensus with thebitcointalk members that this kind of treatment to players is not ok. In hopes that the admin of Stake will for once correct the way staff and moderators are representing the casino and better regulate the moderators instead of just giving them a mute gun + fat salary and leaving them like unsupervised children.

Problem:

Stake has an issue where the mods are allowed to do what they want towards any player for whatever reason. If any of you reading this have experienced similar experiences where mods and/or staff have done an Unreasonable or Unfair mute, this is also your time to speak out.

No im not talking about getting muted for something you did wrong, like begging and intentional spamming. I am talking about mutes without reason, notice, or explanation. Any Questionable mutes or inconsistent mutes (one user doing same offense but doesnt get muted while others do). OR if you have witnessed moderators or staff breaking the rules themselves. Please share here.

Here is an example:

As you can see i was stating my opinion as well as observation and that was enough to get me muted. And please if anyone see's what i clearly did wrong let me know because neither do i or others understand how this mute was right. The mod not only threatens anyone else who wishes to express themselves but also confesses to having just proven my point.

I have talked to support many times in the past trying to come to an understanding on why i was muted. I have tried many times to get them to understand how the mute is not ok, whether it be 30 minutes or an 4 hours, Its not ok. And thought they can, and will tell you just to wait it out if its a small mute. They condone the bias and harsh treatment, instead of appreciating the players that spend their hard earned money and priceless time in the chatroom. Support act like they do not have any power over mods, and the admin are hard to reach.

Last example of what kind of moderators in Stake are like: Ex-moderator Grifter exit scammed on stake forum. https://forum.stake.com/topic/6785-y-u-do-this-grifter/?tab=comments#comment-84570  He took advantage of his moderator status to take out many loans before he exit scammed. lolgato1 also an ex-moderator, funny thing is he was hired as a mod with -32 trust on his btctalk forum account. Perhaps admin need to rethink or pay attention to who their mods are and what they are doing.

Edward or Stunna if this is how you envisioned your casino to look like, uptight, unfair, and strict then please come reassure me so Everyone can better know what to expect out of Stake's chatroom and peope.

Thank you everyone for your time.

Back in the days, I remember that there are also some people who appeal about unfair muting on PD. I see, now this is still going even on Stake.
Anyway, could you provide a larger screenshot? There's no way any person would be able to read the chat text.

As for grifter, it's an ashame that he's a Filipino. 0.01 btc for mod status? lol.

Thank you for pointing that out. I have updated the pictures.

I think there will always be such appeals because nothing really ever gets done about these things. Support wont ever go against a mods decision, and will really not put much importance into those tickets. Once, Ive been told to just wait for the mute to finish because its not a long time, but thats not what i was upset about in that ticket it was the fact that i did nothing wrong. She couldn't even tell me what i did wrong, but whether mutes are justified or not were of little significance to her.

It would be much better if you do took screenshots into more previous chats you had made.I do only see 2 comments of yours which i cant really make a word if you do violate something or not because it is not complete or do lack of further words.

As the thing being said above back to those days on where PD do have the same issues when it comes to chat restriction or being mute. Sending out support tickets towards this would be somehow pointless which have been said above too.

I mean, what's the problem. Sure banning somebody for something as little as that may not be ideal to everybody, but they have a chat community they want to keep from getting into a huge argument about people being dicks or any other type of thing that can get out of hand and have people just shouting and pissed at each other. Being timed out of a chat for calling everybody dicks unironically is fine...

Move on dude it's not even an issue. Trust me I've been upset over similar things in the past.

Whats the issue? Exactly there is no issue in the chat, no one was arguing no one was complaining or fighting. The only thing that happened was one small comment was made, a small opinion that as you can see, people laughed at. There was no issue, no reason for me to have been muted 2 hours. It was unreasonable even to the others in chat.

Shouting and pissed at each other is different, had that happened the mute would have been justified and id have no issue, but these guys do what they want up to break their own rules. Not ok to condone moderators being dicks. if they wanted to keep people from arguing about moderators being dicks then perhaps they should fix the way they moderate instead being even more of dicks to players.

@Mahanton i see next time i will take screenshots further back but for this situation these were the messages for which i was muted for.
