I'm new here, this is my first post, so first of all, i wanna say hello to everybody!
Second of all, don't use bitlaunder.com. They will take your bitcoins and no nothing. I made an account, deposit the bitcoins in the designated wallet, and guess what, on my deposit balance i have zero. After 100 confirmations.
So, if i was idiot enought to trust them with my small amount of BTC, please, don't be like me.

We don't need to scam anyone.  Our revenue model is commissions, and we make far too much money from commissions (up to 3%) than stealing a few measly coins.

Again, let me know your username and I will check your account. I am guessing you are just a hacker/extortionist trying to shake me down for a few btc so you can 'resolve' this situation.

Go ahead and post whatever 'evidence' you have of the 'scam'.  This is complete horseshit, and you know it.

I run BitPlastic.com, PaidBitcoin.com, BitFiverr.com, BitListing.com, BitSweeps.com, TheBitcoinEscrow.com and dozens more Bitcoin sites .. and, what, you think we're going to scam you for some miniscule amount of Bitcoins, and damage our reputation as a huge network?  Insane.

I don't like people slinging accusations at me, so if you have some evidence, or want to provide your BitLaunder username, I'm happy to personally take a look. I know for a fact you never even emailed support, as I just spoke with them. 

How long does it take on average to launder/process coins through your website? Maybe this user just didn't wait long enough?

Laundering can take 2-3 hrs for a quick launder or up to 24hrs if the user chooses 'Secure Launder'

We have to mix the coins, so obviously it is not going to be instantaneous.  If this user wants to provide his BitLaunder username, I am happy to investigate the claim

how much did you put?

Do you have a minimum requirement? I noticed another site did and someone paid LESS than that and got pissed off because it was "stolen." Could have happened here as well?

Not sure how much washingmiss lost, I lost almost .4 bitcoins through them.  check out the link above.  I posted the whole timeline and story.  I would avoid them like the plague.

Technically it's just mixing, and it's not always for bad reasons. Bitcoin is meant to be anonymous; mixing coins allows the trend of anonymity.

There is absolutely nothing nefarious or otherwise sinister about wanting clean bitcoins.  Its absolutely no different than going to an ATM and getting cash to pay for a coke and a snickers at a store rather than with a debit card or credit card.  Neither of which are anonymous on any level.

The cash thing is a good analogy. I know of people who refuse to use Debit/Credit/Checks solely because they don't want to be tracked. If you want to buy something, that's your own business.

Now that's a base libertarian thought process if I ever saw.

What one person does is no one else's business so long as they are not messing with others.

It makes life SO difficult though. I prefer to just use credit so I carry around one item and don't have to worry. Makes things a lot easier for me.

It's not really "laundering," in the sense people think it is. Read my earlier posts. He really should have just called it a mixing service. And there are many wallets/sites that do mixing as it is.

Not really! I would tend to say they are not mixed at all! If they ask for ID!

The only thing that comes to my mind is to set up a page where you ask for donations and you donate to yourself, even like this they can trace the btc/money back to you but at least you can say "I have a foundation to run I can't verify 2000 donations a day!"

This is true to a point. But from an outsider point of view, there is no real way to track.

I prefer it this way.  Not that I am doing or need to do anything nefarious or otherwise "shady", I just prefer, when possible, to exercise my beliefs that if I am not doing anything to hurt others, it is no one's business what I do with my money and prefer to have some sort of medium/currency that is not traceable.  It simply makes me feel I am still free.....although there is plenty to argue that "WE" are not.  

Mixing them simply makes me feel better.  Using a service is simply more convenient that starting a blog and taking donations.

If anyone asks about my "laundering" my coins, I can simply say take it up with the site that offers the service.....and my attorney.  ;)

Very true. I can completely understand that view, too. I believe privacy should be a given unless I do something to not deserve it. Nobody needs to know I drink Vanilla Coke. Or that I like pizza. While knowing that doesn't hurt me, it's the principle.

and to be really anonymous the thing will be like this

1.get some BTC (mining or buying doesn't matter)
2.go out in the real world and use public wi-fi and move your coins in several wallets, do this with a proxy subscription or VPN (paid with BTC, for easier usage your label wallet address should contain the name of the proxy/VPN never and NEVER use the same proxy for 2 different wallets!) and transfer the coins from one IP to another several times(from 6 and up with at least 3 different wi-fi networks if by mistake you used the same proxy VPN with 2 different wallets then you have to multiply the numbers above with at least 2!)
3.Set up a blog (where you sell paintings made by you or anything else that can be considered art) and access it a lot! By a lot I would like to say at least 500 times with different hours(If the proxy/VPN is from USA then try to visit your site at a normal time in that country usually work hours because that's when everybody is on facebook clicking links!) and different country! No one will believe that a site with 3 request sold items worth of 10BTC!(After you laundered your money just send some drawings you made on primary school to some random addresses around the globe!)
4.Donate small amounts from different wallets to your official wallet!
5.Enjoy!

You overcomplicate things, lol. Using a mixing service you simply send funds -> receive funds. It's as easy as that.

I have personally not tried this website, but it seems to have more than 1 complaint against it.

Well, you could use gambling sites instead of exchanges then.
Just deposit your btc to a gambling site, withdraw it, deposit to another gambling site, and withdraw it. Done.
Of course, you would be using proxy / tor to signup those sites.  ;)

buy proxy with btc while you have 3 free proxy's enabled for additional protection!

That sure is a good way to remove the evidence.
However, a better advice would be reading the laws in your own country about money laundering before offering such a service.

Site looks pretty cool and useful for those who are paranoid about being anonymous like me. Might use them in the future if it is legit.

That's because laundering money is a crime, or at least mostly related to illegally obtained money. In this case, it sounds like illegally obtained bitcoins being laundered.

Why did the site owner used the word "launder" instead of "mixer"?
It really doesn't sound good with launder IMO.

In the end they're the same thing though aren't they? But yes indeed laundering sounds worse as it's associated with crime. I doubt calling it a mixer would make it "more legal" though.

The guy is a total scammer.  Just checkout antilyze.com (http://antilyze.com).  All the info you need is right there.  In a post today, Moriarty claimed he had invested $400,000 in bitcoin.  The guy is a laughing stock.
How can you invest $400,000 with bitcoin that you took in from a laundering site, and that is your payout address?  What a clown.  I have all the proof on his latest $80,000 theft.  If he has stolen from you, PM me as I try and build a huge case so this asshole can spend a while in jail.

I'm not saying he is a scammer, I am just saying he steals $80,000 from some people, makes websites under the name of others to defame them and slander them for trying to help recover someone's funds. bitlounder service worked for me, well it took over 12h to proceed but it worked fine, i got mental after 3 hrs and opened a ticket to support.
Morning after my bitcoins were totally transferred.
Now probably some user got scammed or hacked but my wasn't the case. I'm not affiliated with that service in any matter.
