I've seen and played a lot of virtual reality since 2016.
I love how game developers use the virtual reality technology to integrate it on so many games.
Virtual reality has still a big potential, there are plenty of room for improvement.

I like virtual reality games compare to non virtual games. They are so interactive and innovate, it is like you are in the literally inside the game maybe theyy will evolve to something like tv HD virtual reality.

Well I like it somehow but I grew up in a place that I have my friends with me and it is more fun with them so I say no to VR which makes you a loner.

It's a very weird concept but have never tried, it does look awesome though. I'll be buying a VR headset and stuff soon to give it a go and see what all the fuss is about!

The virtual realities I like, I had the opportunity to test my first team in 2016 and it was fantastic, in the way video games are a luxury.

Fell in love with VR when they showed Sword Art Online for the first time.

I've never used Virtual reality but I guess it's not good for eye health. Virtual reality can also make us more dependent on gadgets and reluctant to socialize in the real world.

I like virtual reality, there are many movies released by virtual reality, in which many games are also a virtual reality to the market, in the future will have many users virtual reality.

I really think that vr is the future of gaming and cinema experience, but this technology really needs still to grow and find the right solution and co-technology to raise its quality.

I enjoyed the virtual reality in which the 3d movies I was watching had a lot of great feel for those who experienced virtual reality.

Yes. One of the VR technology I love is VR Porn, but there is not much choice for porn movie fans to really drown enjoy the content. Controller features like Oculus Touch or HTC Vive controller are still newly available for developers. Of course you hope when watching VR content is much more real, then we will feel like you are the actor in the porn movie.

I have an HTC Vive and think it is a lot of fun. I hope it gets more heavily adopted so that we can have awesome games on it.

I agree. VR needs lots of improvement. But I'm definitely excited to explore its many benefits --especially how it makes an impact on art, science, politics, etc.

I do. I enjoy virtual reality a lot. To me it is not just a gaming console of sort, because you can use VR in a lot of things: virtual tours, shopping, there is even a TV series in VR now! But what I am most interested about is the possibility of getting into the virtual world. I imagine it will be better than this world. I heard in transhumanism there is a process called mind uploading where your consciousness can be uploaded into the simulation, allowing you to achieve digital immortality. I think it will be cool to achieve that someday.

It is good enough, but really matter for what purpose.

I just read an article today about how VR will change the way we experience sports. With the technology, we can not only have a front row seat at games, but we could go straight to the sidelines or even actually experience being part of the game. Literally, a game-changer huh?

i would really like it if it is more enhanced, just wearing glasses kinda just lets me see things but not to the point like im in the same galaxy as the images i see. if one could somehow implement it in a more portable way and enhance it so that we could feel the same atmosphere as the images portray i would love it.

The complicated answer is that everyone experiences VR differently, and not all VR headsets or platforms are created equal, so certain games on certain headsets on certain people are going to cause more problems than others.

It's great to watch movies on it but gaming in VR still needs a lot of improvements in my opinion.

I have never played a VR game but I once saw a video clip of a girl who played it. In fact I never knew it existed until I watched "Ready Player one" this year, then a real clip of virtual reality in action... I've never played it but honestly I want to play it even if it's just once... I really want to.

It seems like a really good idea but currently the projects on the market are kind of lame if you ask me, seems like the potential hasn't been exploited properly yet.

To some extent, I think most games are a virtual reality. They have been for a long time. I guess you're referring to the VR when you have some goggles on and you can move your head around like you're in a different reality. That is pretty amazing. In my experience, the technology is still quite limited, but I think it has a lot of potential. Of course, you can incorporate different things into the VR that you can touch or feel that will make it seem even more real. It's amazing to think what games will be like 20 years from now. They just keep getting better.

Virtual reality is good for rigis, if you have a big hall in it. You see what is wrong example temperatures, bitcoin hashing speed, the mining pool where it is pointed. Those flying "robots" if very "cool" too, you see virtual glasses where you flying with it. Money is one reason, why not buy the newest things.

It's cool but don't use too much as it can tire you brain really quickly due to the immersive experience and sensory overload. Take regular breaks also.

VR is not so good at this moment. Classic PC games can bring you much more fun, but VR have it's own romantics I must say.

It would be wonderful if VRMMORPG were to happen soon. I want to have a VR game like SAO and be able to play in the game world personally. And will be able to interact with other people realistically through VR game. Is VRMMORPG possible in the future? No?

i think, if somehow they can include/improve some devices regarding to VR like wireless googles and a flatform that allows a person to walk or run freely as if they are really moving to what they see it would be a perfect VR form, but as of now i really liked where it is going.

I'm actually a fan of virtual reality, and I actually have 2 virtual reality goggles right now. My only problem is that my current phone is not compatible to VR games, so I have to borrow my sister's phone whenever I want to use them  ;D

Shorter-term, VR is going to take over entertainment (art museums, movies, see opera or broadway shows from anywhere, virtual sex).

Long-term, and I am not exaggerating, life itself. You'll be able to work and live in VR. The tech has quite a ways to go though. Haptic suits, treadmills, better headsets and other means of access are being developed. The potential for a digitized society is huge and it seems like that's where we're headed.

I do. Virtual reality to me is more than just about gaming. It has many uses now. It is widely used in real estate, medicine, training and soon, it might even be possible to use as a means to escape in the virtual world a la Ready Player One. I prefer real life. Sometimes I can sit on the Internet, but living in a virtual world all the time is unnatural for humans. I think we should be closer to nature.

In my opinion, the VR theme itself is interesting, but virtual meaningless without content. For developers, making content for a device that no one uses because there is no content is also meaningless.

I do! I love using virtual reality to exercise and have fun. And you're right. It has a big potential, not just as gaming headgear, but also to revolutionize the society and professional industry. For example, right now VR is being used in the medical industry, as well as real estate and architecture, construction and more. Someday, we might even use it to escape and live in a virtual world like that movie Ready Player One or The Matrix.

Virtual reality is something everyone wants but they dont want it in its current state and for it to grow it needs a lot of money and they cant get the money unless people buy it.

Tried the chatting app in VR. From what i have seen most of VR apps is still kind rough, and need more tuned. But i can see they become a big thing in next ~ 5 years

To be honest, I think the technology hasn't developed far enough to fully make use of all the potential future use cases. At the same time, it's quite expensive for the end-users which is limiting adaption and innovation in the field.

Of course, virtual reality has already reached a new level and it is becoming more and more interesting to dive into it, but I prefer not to do it often, I personally get tired of it.

i've had a play with a PSVR. there were definitely some breathtaking moments but it's still kinda basic.

you can taste the potential over the hill but it's not there yet. when it's lightweight, wireless and 4-8k for each eye it's gonna be something to behold.

Yeah, I like Virtual reality. There are many more uses of VR than first realized which range from academic research through to engineering, design, business, the arts, and entertainment.

9D is the newest technology in the world. Recently tried 9D virtual reality at the mall and it was so amazing that you really felt the scenery you're seeing in there.

I do enjoy VR games. I've tried Skyrim, Beat Saber and Transference. It's hard to go back to flat screen gaming once you've tried VR.

Yes, I do like VR because it immerses users to the place. I am actually excited on how the technology will evolve from games and entertainment to another. I already heard about startups building their products using VR but I think it will still take time to make VR become mainstream.

I have a rift and enjoy exploring Google Earth VR and Beat Saber. I can see why it's not mainstream yet though (not yet serving enough real problems but it's getting there, in the realm of work, education, entertainment, etc.)

Of course we like, I would even say to most people. In some cases, even more than real, and this is due to the fact that they feed on illusions in life.

Most virtual reality was awful for quite a while. The early oculus -- it was nauseating and unimmersive. Now, VR has come a long way. You take off the goggles and feel like you dropped out of the clouds. I'm into it.

This kinda reminds me of bitcoin. People hear about it and gets interested, but eventually decides not to buy bitcoin because it's too expensive for them. It's a revolutionary virtual currency, but people stay away from it because they can't afford it. So they stick to what's available today: fiat.

Virtual reality is like that. It's immersive and a good way to escape reality, but not everyone is willing to shell out hundreds and thousand of dollars just for this technology.

Unfortunately, this technology is too crude. Although it has a very good potential. I sincerely believe that in my life I will be able to try a really high-quality product in which I can not distinguish reality from virtual reality.

First 3D virtual shopping experience

Tried out some VR games, it was a fun experience but there is still a long way to go. Especially in terms of convenience, would be great to not have such bulky equipment. And in terms of immersiveness, but these are both improvements that will almost surely come in time.

Totally, VR is applicable in all wakes of life, it takes gaming to the next level for instance.

I don't really like it. Nothing can change me a real life and it's adventures. When something tries to take me out of reality (except art) I feel uncomfortable. But I take something from art and take nothing from v.r. It's useless, in my point of view.

I've seen an extremely cool VR application of a poker room lately. I think it was Pokerstars – you can find the poker room and casino on https://www.onlinecasinobetrug.net (https://www.onlinecasinobetrug.net). There were a lot of interactions possible between the players at the table and it looked very real and entertaining. The only weak point was that the hand movements need practice before they do the right action (bet / check / fold). Also the VR device seems to be uncomfortable after a long session.

I remember the days when we would lose hours looking through our viewmasters and enjoying all sorts of vistas in 3d. these in a way are the precursors to today's virtual reality offerings. I don't necessarily like the active images being so close to our eyes , but, I really look forward to the new innovations that are sure to come.

I really like the idea and tried it once which was pretty fun but I think they are still at an early stage. As they develop more games or utilize it more properly in the existing games I can look to get myself one.

I work in the VR Esports industry and I honestly don't like it that much, haha. The best experience I've had with VR was visiting my old home in Google Earth, that's about it. It's a little overwhelming, VR games, and kind of exhausting. Pokémon, on the other hand, I can play endlessly . . .

Sounds like something you could combine with 3D Google map/earth and get lots of home owners/estate developers make real 3D image of their homes interiors and place them on their exact locations on the map for customers to walk through using virtual/augmented reality devices.

There are many different types of virtual reality systems but they all share the same characteristics such as the ability to allow the person to view three-dimensional images. These images appear life-sized to the person. This ensures that the virtual environment is both realistic and enjoyable.

VR is a big trend right now and I also think VR games are very entertaining. VR will be a popular feature for most games soon.

A lot are betting that VR (virtual reality) indeed would be the next big trend indeed. I do like it, although I haven't tried it yet but hopefully the technology would make it much more affordable for the rest of us to dive into VR very soon.

I didn't know that you can get headaches from playing VR games. A friend of mine has a setup and I played a few times with him. It was a lot of fun for me and I wanted to buy my own VR headset last year. But due to the corona pandemic I stopped all unnecessary expenditures and didn't buy it. Will have to test it again for a longer period of time if it I can actually handle one.

To be honest, I don't trust this kind of technology. I'm not against convenient things, but I understand that technologies are being introduced specifically for certain bad purposes (population control, most often).

This doesn't mean that we should abandon the technocratic path at once. But we should start striving for nature. After all, nature is much wiser than all of us (and our technologies), because we come from nature.
