Paypal has frozen the donation account of the social network Diaspora. The already donated money is frozen for several months. Further donations will not be accepted .
The payment service Paypal has locked the social network Diaspora . The account had been frozen , the operators report on her blog .

Open source and decentralized

Diaspora was launched in September last year . The social network grew out of concerns about lack of privacy and data breaches on Facebook and other social networks. In contrast to the commercial social network Diaspora is organized and decentralized open source .....

Have me with the details of the system has not yet but my first impression is promising and the PayPal account lockout is probably the best evidence that we may like Bitcoinern ;-)

You can register itself , but the use is as far as I know not yet open.

Why did Paypal froze the account?

The account wasn't used for a long time.
