Title: No sign of BTC tumbled through Helix Light
Post by: corsicania on April 05, 2018, 03:09:11 AM
Hey there,

I'm pretty new to this process, so apologies and please tell me if I'm not explaining anything clearly.

I sent my btc to the address provided by Helix using Electrum, but have seen no sign of it returning to my wallet. The Helix Status Page still says Waiting for Payment, after 11 hours. The delay was set randomly to 2 hours. I re-checked the address at the top of the page and it was sent to the right one, but since 8 hours have passed since making the transaction, when I refreshed the page the address updated to a completely new one. Nothing else about the page has changed.

Transaction details:
Amount: 22.97056 mBTC
Size: 192 bytes
Fee: 0.00898 mBTC (4.00000 sat/byte)
Status: 75 confirmations

Am I worried about nothing here or has something gone horribly wrong?

Can you tell us what is this "Helix Light" Because you might have sent your bitcoins to a scammer or fake site:
Quote
Grams ceased operations on December 16, 2017 (PGP signed verification by gramsadmin (https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/7il24c/so_long_and_thanks_for_all_the_fish/)). Any site claiming to be operating the Helix Light mixing or tumbling service is a fake and you will be scammed out of any money you put into it.

It was through the link at the bottom this guide.

So definitely a scam?

I'm not going to click that, sorry. And as stated, it's definitely a scam.
Next time, do not trust online news/articles and research any future services you want to use before sending your Bitcoins to it.

Speaking of Mixing Service, there are couple of legit services here in Bitcointalk like Chipmixer (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1935098.0).

Always use trusted mixing platforms like cryptomixer and chipmixer. Cryptomixer is paid one but chipmixer is free and quite different than other mixers. I have used both of them several times without a problem.

Now about helix light...The link they have on the article you have said is different than official helix light (which is down right now since dec last year).
So yes you got scammed, sorry for loss. Helix light no longer exist...
