I think it depends on individual. Different coins have different aims and possibilities. Everyone should have own research and understanding about market. I personally prefer Bitcoin over other coins for many reasons. It actually depends on how you are seeing things.

I think only a few alt, because not all alt can be a good choice for investment. If you do not do research, then I am sure you will be stuck.

Altcoins are always good investments, one just ha to chose those that are affordable with good projects that will see them grow, they are currently cheap so its a good investment gap, be wise on your choices though

We can not give all-purpose meaning in the crypto world and with this we should be aware that altcoin is a healthy and thrives on investment only mentioning the good side of the game. On the other hand There are many non-objective or fraudulent projects that attract people who usually not study and research on the investment.

The best coin to invest is the coin who establish already its name like bitcoin , if you invest in altcoin make sure that it has a great potential in the future because many altcoin failed when it terms to pricing you will invest in a good price but when the ico end and you will about to sell the price is too low so you dont have a chance to earn from your investment.

It varies because of the constant shifts in the economy i'd say for now bitcoin is the best for investing because of it's high value right now but no one can predict what will happen in the future. Altcoin too is good for investing but it depends on what coin will you invest to. some coins take longer to raise value while some are quick. So you have to choose wisely when it comes to investing.

as we have until now I will invest in dibitcoin and on the other side also invest dialtcoin, and I also like dialtcoin investment for me the development of coins that have good potential, so we will be more profitable.

I think so. The market is now in a strong recession, of course there is still a slight drop  but I think that already from these prices you can start to buy promising altcoins.

Current i still follow the coin i have follow than one year (5-10 altcoin), in that year, i have remember it have what products work for what, for who and predict it's future. All altcoin was going down more than 50% and learn from the pass, usually after big crash there are will be any chance the market will rebound, so take the risk and will be big possibility you can earn good profit in next a few month. Take some altcoins that has strong fundamental and which in the top 15 ranking so will be more posibility the price will going up.

Pay attention to recent statistics. Pay attention to your own research. Only a precious handful of altcoins performed better than Bitcoin over the past three months. So anyone who though altcoins were the way to go during the peak will have realized that they would have fared much better if they just held Bitcoin. Even the so-called established ones like ETH have plummeted worse than BTC. My favorite, LTC, which performed better than BTC in 2017, has also suffered a lot especially after the recent news on Litepay.

If you want an investment that is less risky than cryptocurrencies, then I can't recommend this to you for this won't be the BEST investment. The market is miserably unstable as of now and is suffering from a bad bear market. I don't know when it will recover but you could atleast try, a few hundred bucks that you can afford to lose.

The best way or safe way to invested your money just in real life only, like land or home. Invested in cryptocurrency we will a head lose if someday bitcoin or altcoin have a decrease. I don't really know but people are focusing on altcoin more than Bitcoin cause when you wanna invest in Altcoin, you'll have thousand choices to choose but when you invest in Bitcoin you only can choose Bitcoin :))). Beside other investors often choose altcoin cause altcoin price is much lower than Bitcoin beside there are a lot of good potential altcoin so they often prefer invest in altcoin to Bitcoin although Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency world.

Not all altcoins are best way to invest I  believing some coins which is really having high potentiality like neo , ethereum , waves, eos , Ada and also look into some exchange  devidend paying coins like kcs  and coss it would be a better investment.

There is possibly more gains to be had in alts depending on your choices...but also more losses. Most coins have not proven their use yet in the alt world so when that happens spikes occur...like golem recently with mainnet. but there is also gains had with holding btc or eth, neo etc and as the market follows btc the gains to be had long therm could be similar.

I don't know if it's the best method of investing but it the route that I have chosen to take.  I know the best path for me to earning more bitcoins is to trade or invest in altcoins.  Trading bitcoins to earn more bitcoins is also possible but that route is like taking side streets and altcoins being the freeway.  

no doubt about that anymore! With my choice, I would prioritize investing in the altcoin that is launching the ICO or some completed ICO project if that project has a good platform and products.

Not totally all altcoins are good in terms of price value, there are also altcoins having cheap price, and if you invest on altcoins, you must careful and find the good one which is having a good future market value. But some strategic person, they find a coin which is having cheap price and speculate that there must be a good future price growth on their coin being purchased.

Yes altcoin are still best investment . But before investment you have to make enough research . I will explain previous two scenarios with altcoin which went really wrong one was centra and another one POS token. Centra value gone to  1 cents after SEC arrested 2 of the team members . The coin reached 4 dollar and had great team and awesome product . They added most of the crypto currencies to spendable assets . But one day everything became nothing . Another one POS token reached 3$ best devidend paying coin and it was the first POS based token finally dev left team now it’s nothing. So make enough research about team and their existence before investing.

Because the market is down, I could say inbesting in atcoins are way better compared to investing in Ico. The reason is because you no longer need to wait more than the one who invested in ICO to see a price increase. In addition, there are lot of coins that their prices is lower than what is in ICO.

I think it is optional for the investor if he thinks altcoins are a better investment than bitcoin is. I can't disagree or agree with them however. I dont trust in Ripple anymore, it is one of those altcoins that you can never end up trusting much, it is controlled by banks and institutions, and it is almost centralized at 100%. I prefer Cardano instead of it.

I can say yes it is one of the best investment in this era. But important to note, it will be the best when we really know how to invest wisely and smartly in altcoins. Why? Because many investors lost their money when investing in altcoins because of the wrong strategy and analysis. Here in altcoins, it must require huge patience, very good strategy to hold or sell, careful analysis, and update. When we are ready enough for those things, we can use the altcoin greatly to gain huge profits.

Investing on Bitcoin is painful today and that's why investing on altcoins instead will offer higher rewards and earnings than Bitcoin.
