Title: Hello Bitcoin forum!
Post by: Dextro on July 28, 2011, 08:21:33 PM
Hi, I'm Dextro.

I'm kinda new to the Bitcoin currency but it's interesting so I'd like to know more and hopefully use bitcoin on a regular basis.  :)

I was thinking that when I get settled in I could buy extra copies of steam games and sell them for bitcoins on the forum. Oh and while I'm here I'd like to ask, is there any way that a person can convert visa or credit card money into bitcoins?

I doubt that you will find someone for that. Accepting reversible payments like credit cards or paypal as seller is just to risky.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what form of payment do the exchanges accept if they don't accept card payments or Paypal?

It depends on what site, but it's usually bank transfers, wire transfers, checks, or mailed cash, generally.
