Title: Bibox exchange users, beware of these kind of scammer
Post by: CopMom on April 06, 2018, 04:03:08 PM
I'm using bibox to trade.

Today I had a problem with withdrawal from Bibox, my withdrawal failed and my balance was freezed so I joined bibox telegram group to ask for help.

Then I received a PM from a telegram user name bibox asked me to send 1 ETH to unlock my balance. LOL.

Luckily I checked again and found out he's a scammer

Everyone should be careful with this kind of scammer.

This bibox telegram user might be an imposter. Have you checked its telegram handle, if it's the same as their official account?
Also, I recommend you to reach them via email or wechat.

Email: support@bibox.zendesk.com
We chat: BiboxKf-02

It's not just happening in Bibox. I remember that around 2 weeks ago there was a member who experienced the same sort of scam with yobit where an imposter tried to approach him with the title of yobit support and asked him to send 1 ETH in order to reverse a transaction. And when he sent the payment, the imposter just kept on asking for more ETH to be sent.

Exchanges will never ask you to send them money to do something. Especially with such broken grammar. His reason of "your account is full of jam on the mempool sir" is nothing short of hilarious.

Thanks OP for putting this out there. Scams that involve imposter of exchange reps have gotten very common. In general, don't send any money to anyone claiming to be support until you verify they are not impersonators.

I don't like to use Wechat cause I feel it's a little bit difficult to use so I only use telegram. Beside this is screenshot from my telegram so it's not a joke from 1st April. LOL.

Maybe this scammer is a member in this forum as well. LOL.

Hi, 11 days ago I've made a request to withdraw my funds from Bibox exchange and until now they continue to delay me and not solve my problem. Please be aware that Bibox exchange is scamming people! I'm very dissapointed by what happened. Shame on them!

OP has been offline for almost four years now, don't know if this user's problem has been resolved or not. You will not get any response from op by posting new in this thread. So you can add more information to the accusation you make so that everyone is aware of this exchange. Because, at least for you other crypto users will be alert and can avoid losing their funds on this exchange.
