In 2011 it went from pennies to $20, then back down to $4. In 2013 it went from $4 to $200, back down to $60 and then up to $1000 and then back down to $300. It fluctuated a few times before 2017 when it went to $20,000 and then back down to $6000… All of those previous swings are larger than the swings we’re seeing now. Once bitcoin regain it's upward trend what's your price prediction for its all time  price record?? ;)

I think that this year we will see an update to the historical maximum of the price. Some say that it will be $ 40,000, others that $ 50,000, someone even forecasts a price of $ 90,000. But first, we need to go over the mark of 10-15 thousand.

Expecting 50 k or 60 k after such a heavy and long bear for about three months is too optimistic I would say  but not impossible.I would be happy if it reaches 20k before end of year  :)

My hope is bitcoin will continue to retain value as a form of digital gold, and the promise of digital money will be met. Three, bitcoin develops into a payment network. It is a pure nonsense to make any mid- or long-term price predictions in such a highly speculative, volatile and unregulated market bogged down on FUD. But I expect strong bullish reversal in May-June, including due to large institutional investors incoming.

I think bitcoin will be at the end of the year will be able to reach between 20k to 25k, and for the price above it I still doubt it. 25k at the end of the year already includes a high price.

Bad things first then secondly good things will come to maintainthe balance of everything. I think it will come to 40k because it was then 20k so I multiply it to 2 to make it a little bit reality in it.

My prediction by the end of 2018 for bitcoin is that it will rise up to more than $30000. But before we see these prices again we maybe go back to 5k USD in the next couple of weeks. But just hold and buy the dips guys!!  ;D

Yes, the history of the bitcoin is been really interesting till now and I myself had been a part of this Bitcoin long journey from pennies to $20,000 and still counting on. I am expecting to reach some more new record all-time highs.Right now even I am planning for the uptrend to start soon so that I can see the new record all-time highs lie $30,000 and $50,000 and it is only possible to see on the bitcoin price charts if there are strength and positive news spreading all over the world regarding Bitcoin and the upcoming forks.

Personally, I think we very well could see a new all time high. But, at the very least, I certainly believe that $10,000-$12,000 is very achievable. Once money starts coming into crypto again, the sky is the limit. It's getting more and more attention every day.

My prediction is $60000 by the end of 2018. This is not only my prediction but experts prediction as well. You ask for prediction for end of this year and experts have predicted that $60000 would be reached in July this year, I'm not too sure about that and I don't predict what good news may come on that time for this prediction by experts but lets hope for the best.

actually I do not think it makes sense if you predict the price based on the previous one, because the market in crypto is very volatile maybe its history can provide prediction but will not be accurate, so if you ask what bitcoin price at the end of 2018 my prediction might be around 50.000 $.

There are those who believe this is it for Bitcoin, that because of so many alt coins on the market, there is no real growth potential for it - and speculate a price of around $1000. Then there those who believe quite the opposite, in that Bitcoin has weathered many a cryptocurrency storm before, it has proven itself to be able to stand its ground - speculating a price of around $30,000.

I lean towards bulls, and speculate a price of around $18,000. The walking wounded coin will come back!

We can only predict price and nobody cannot say correctly what price will be. Even it is not possible to definitely say anything with technical analysis, because a whale can move the direction of the price with a large amount of money and this time there is no meaning of technical analysis. But I guess we can see 20k again until the end of the year.

I want to cost no less  $ 100 000  by the end of 2018. But in my prediction I think it will be about  $ 30 000.. Wait to see a new record highs.

It is hard to predict the exact valuation by the end of this year but we might see some positive movement at the end of this year but does that warrant to see an all time high is difficult to predict, but we are going to those valuations in due time and there is no doubt about it, i am holding my coins till we see another rally.

Bitcoin will be back on $15k level again this year, this is only my prediction for now and hopefully to happen.
With regards to altcoins I know good technology can also survive ETH $1k level again for sure. :)

This is very possible it maybe reach this year more than $20k. As more people waited for this to happen to increase the bitcoin value. Once demand increase price will increase so my predictions end of 2018 is possible more than 20k$ to hit.

Indeed bitcoin is a legend in crypto. But after all the legend can not be separated from the some problems. I think for 2018 the bitcoin price must to go down, as there are so many new crypto-coins rivals that have flexibility and convenience compared to bitcoin. But it will not be more down than U$ 300 / btc. That's my conclusion for bitcoin prices in 2018

No one exactly knows what will happen in bitcoin when this year ends or in the future, but almost all of us are positive that it can reach another all time high before the year ends. Based from the previous years and charts Bitcoin never fails to surprise us.

the history journey from bitcoin prices is very rigid, I myself do not know much about bitcoin initial price, I think personal information is very interesting at all, as well as the question, as far as what I read for the prediction of bitcoin prices at the end of 2018 I predict at the price of $ 150- 250K is certainly not easy to achieve that but why not populerty bitcoin no doubt, now we are just waiting for the spirit time of friends

honestly Im just happy enough if BTC can reach last ATH price again. I know that every investor expect it more than 20k or even 30k level, but at the end of the day Im just lookin at the chart, read some news, face the truth and then just hope it will be recover.

I think bitcoin will reach 50k$ by the end of 2018, because crypto will be approved in more countries. Crypto currency will reach new high and become more popular soon, its will replace old technology and help people in real life.

I think bitcoin will end around the price of $15k by end of this year. This is just based on my observation of its current price which is a ound $6k-$7k+ for a couple of months now but I could be wrong though.

My prediction is the dip price for bitcoin would be arround $4500 in this year and bitcoin will be at $4500-$6000 by the end of this year. Bitcoin already goes too high last year and we should give it a break begore it shoot the moon again. The moon possibly at $100k or even more.

I think we will see yet another drop in the price down, then the prise, then down again, on these races one can make good money, which is what traders do. Everyone hopes for a high price, and if it goes up, people will buy, which is not entirely correct. Even if the price is 25k, it can fall easily to 5k.

For me, $10.000 is a good target because seeing it over $10.000 is psychologically good, $20k or other predictions go beyond it are not possible in this market now so $10.000 is very good in fact as a target before 2019.

It's very simple reasoning, really. Bitcoin is going to be in a bear market for most of the year, and even if there is a huge recovery, bitcoin price has to bottom first. Where that bottom is in my opinion is around $5k or so, which haven't been reached yet.

We're going to go down further after this rally is over, then after bitcoin hits the bottom, we'll see most likely a recovery back up to $9k by the end of year.

bitcoin is a good coin and has good prospects also to invest. the next month is the time when bitkoyn again rises to higher prices. Of course, 20K is very unlikely, but up to 15K jump will be before fall.

The previous price doesn't have anything to do with the current situation. As we know, when bitcoin started, only a few people who is really technology enthusiasts know about it. Hence, there are only people who invest on it, which means there's a lot market demand. As time goes by, investors and bitcoin traders are increasing as bitcoin is getting everyone's attention. So, I think as time goes by, there's no other way than for bitcoin to go up.

But the previous price is a good gauge to see how far we go. So its really good to see and evaluate based on its price history. As far as predicting the price, its really hard to say where we can go at the end of the year. But I will still remain bullish about it and despite everything, I see that the price can get to another all-time-high this December.

We still have a long to way to go and its early to call, but again, based on bitcoin past records, every year during December the price reaches its peak so I'm speculating that it can happen again this year despite starting 2018 at the wrong foot.

It seems to me that the total growth of the crypto currency will begin in late 2018, so the peak price of bitcoins and many altcoins we will see at the autumn. This is only my personal opinion.

I think seeing the growth of bitcoin graph is like there is a pattern every year .. there will be a difficult period in the middle of the year ,, and will start to improve towards the end of the year ,, I only hope I can survive with this pattern .. and more can learn overcome a difficult time.

20-25k I think. We shouldn't expect too much. The hype was there, you saw what happened. Probably the same will happen when there's another hype. Rising and then falling. If there is no hype I think Bitcoin will rise steadily. And imo something like 25k would be really strong.

it's true if we see a bitcoin price change that will resemble a balloon that bounces but continues higher. and here I have a prediction that bitcoin prices at the end of this year will be able to exceed its highest price so far.

It is very possible for bitcoin to reach 20k up so expects the bad price that may comes and go. Bitcoin could slowly increase this time so being positive may helps and can be confident to many users.

It is still early to confirm that the sign is now kicking off the full recovery of bitcoin. But I think 40k is a real challenge. I think the bitcoin value that can be reached this year is 30k$.

Interesting prediction. So how come bitcoin drops severly again to 4k? Based on any analys? I think the bitcoins will beat new high record after several bumps. But 4k.... is too low. Only new unfriendly policies will let Bitcoin down to the 6k or even 4k. So prophet has predicted any unfriendly regulation?

It is very likely that there will be new levels of ATC. Maybe it will be 50 000? or 40,000? I will be happy if I see a price of 30,000 for bitcoins and a total market capitalization of 4-5 billion

Just take what you have said as an example. After a huge pump, bitcoin price dumps a lot. The recovery of bitcoin market always surpass it's ATH. So, if we will just take this kind of market movement, we can really expect that bitcoin can still surpass it's current ATH once it starts to recover. Take note that cryptocurrency is getting a lot of attention from people since it became really profitable last year.

It is true especially for conditions like this now aka very difficult knowing how the final result later. but I think the bitcoin will remain high and seems to still be if nearly touching $30 k. This is certainly supported the market demand is increasing as well.

Now that btc is increasing dramatically again I can see it to reached 20k usd again before the end of the year . I buy btc when it was just 6k so hope I easily gain profit  before Christmas .  :)

Most of the speculations/predictions I saw last year for the end of 2017 was just around $5k to $8k but, we have seen it touched almost $20k. For this year, we have seen the bottom price at around $6k. Personally, I think BTC price could reach to around $25-30k because of the adaption of some countries and big corporations and scalability issues solution.

I really do not think that is going to happen, to me this is a year of transition, a year in which the price is not going to move as much as in the last year and I think the reason is very simple there is simply not more money to be invested, the old investors do not have any money to invest right now and new investors are not going to enter the market until later.

20k was its last year end value and you are right, this year end value would be at least bigger than the previous one. According to the predictions of crypto expert, bitcoin is going to touch 30k dollars before 2019. For last year, they predicted it to touch 1k dollars but we have seen how much bitcoin really soared up.My personal prediction is that it would go for 40k dollars with an ease.

IMO, $50,000 shouldn’t be any problem for BTC by end of 2018. It is only 5x to 6x of current price.

It seems to me that these are too pessimistic predictions. Many analysts have already said that in 2018 there can not be a new maximum price for Bitcoin.it will be good if Bitcoin reaches 11,000 dollars this year.

In my opinion, BTC prices will not rise above $ 12k by the end of 2018. I hear many people say that BTC prices will rise to $ 50k by the end of this year. But I can not believe it. They can not soar while the Crypto market is now tightly controlled by governments.

At the end of the year, BTC price can only fluctuate at 10k - 12k $. According to my personal forecast, the Crypto market is now being managed more closely. Not as free as the previous time so investors are also very cautious. And the amount of altcoin produced is too big to compete with BTC. As such, BTC prices will not be as high as in previous years.

I do not know the prediction of bitcoin prices by the end of 2018 and then but I'm sure by the end of 2018 bitcoin will recover and can benefit again and predict the bitcoin price is very difficult because over time bitcoin will return to recover and stable
