Title: Any bitcoin shopping carts?
Post by: lovebit on November 09, 2013, 01:05:24 AM
I'm wondering if there are any bitcoin shopping carts as a non-reportable alternative to bitpay.  Software that would generate a public address for each customer and send an email reciept, that sort of thing.  If there are not any, seems this would make a great project.

What exactly do you mean by "non-reportable"? If you're in the U.S. trying to avoid taxes and such, my hunch is things won't work out to well for you.

MtGox has their merchant API (https://www.mtgox.com/merchant) interface - you can either quantify the price in bitcoins, or in fiat.

Also blockchain.info has Receive Payments API (https://blockchain.info/api/api_receive), but it accepts only BTC and the security of this solution does not seem so hot.
Though it's easier to integrate and the coins come directly to your wallet, instead of ending up in their.
