Title: Altcoins will have any future?
Post by: bosian on November 09, 2013, 06:45:46 PM
Since the launch of Bitcoin, many copycats are created, some with new algorithms, such as scrypt, pow/pos, etc. But the framework is what defined by BTC. Any futures for these altcoins?

I think yes, there will be a future for the beginners of mining those coins. Those people who want to test it out and see how it works. I think it woll not riese like BTC but they got also there legitimation to be here ;)

Litecoin is the only promising alt-coin at the moment (atleast that's my opinion). Most alt-coins are useless and pretty much a waste of time.

This.  I doubt there would be any other breakthroughs other than LTC or BTC.  I bought 260 LTC from BTC-e when they were only $2, they have doubled their value since then. :)

Litecoin MIGHT succeed, but not as much as bitcoin. Also I think bitcoin sounds sexier than litecoin :P
