Title: Interested in buying 1-50 BTCs
Post by: bitcoinlord on November 09, 2013, 08:55:52 PM
Hello Everyone,

I would like to buy 1-50 BTCs via Paypal.

Reason: I need BTCs to be used for purchasing the item from seller, who wanted to be paid via BTC.

Please see my nearly 14 years old Ebay account:
http://www.ebay.com/usr/robertrade

I'm a verified Paypal user - since Sept 11, 2000. I will use my Paypal balance to purchase the BTCs. I will provide my Paypal email address for you to check on me, as well as my Facebook page for your review.

Looking forward to hear from you soon.

You are new. Paypal transaction are reversible. Can you use an other mean for the payment?

For here..yes, I'm new.

When it comes to my Ebay, Paypal and other accounts, I'm veteran, and have a good reputation (10 years with stellar track of purchase histories). Yours? Dunno. Show me. :)

If you want non-PP payment for selling your BTCs, that is fine with me. We can use the escrow services (here or http://btcrow.com/).

The seller (you) will be responsible for covering all escrow related expenses, plus 10% BTC discount.

Any questions - post here, or PM me.

Looks like it's now the buyer's market, according to the current BTC rate (going down to $250 or less).

That coming from a newbie scares me.
How do we even know if that's your ebay account?

For what it is worth, I know bitcoinlord and have used services from his business for many years now. I know my onsite credibility is nothing yet but as an online virtual currency business (www.mogs.com) and paypal merchant since 2001 (yes I can prove all of this) my word is good.

I already explained everyone about myself. Yes, that Ebay account is MINE.

Why can't you tell me about yourself if you want to sell your BTCs? How do I know if you're scammer or not? That is the question - which is the reason why I need to do the due diligence (check blockchain, etc.).

I'm very careful when it comes to these type of transactions, as I want to make sure that we have the details in place in advance - this way, we will have a safe transaction.

Hope it helps.

This.

My paypal is restricted with £4000 from selling BTC, accidently told paypal this, blocked my account for 180 days, withholding all money from me.

Sad times.

Ouch. How did you "accidently" tell paypal? Did someone open a dispute against you?

Didn't realise it wasn't allowed, so when they called me to ask where the money was coming from, I accidentally said bitcoin sales.

I don't enter "bitcoins" in Paypal message when dealing with BTC sellers.

I just entered "Purchase 2 items" or something like that. Works well.

Going to sell 1.6B.

I requested you to provide the proof (such as your personal profile, send 0.0001 to my bitcoin wallet ID to prove that it's your bitcoin address, or other methods, etc.) several times (via PM), which you refused to do so.

Because of your lack of proof per my request, as well as you being a new member here (same day sign-up), I am unable to do the transaction with you.

I wish you luck.

always use escrow when dealing with new members.

also signing is a good way to prove ownership of a btc address.
