Bitcoin and its blockchain technology are revolutionary without any doubt. But I am not sure if it is going to solve the world's problems. But if you mean the financial problems, the yes Bitcoin's helping so many people around the world to earn their living or to make some additional income online, and it is also helping to reduce the unemployment worldwide.

Well to be honest there are emny problems that bitcoins can solve. Here is the list of the ones that I find most influential:-

1. High transaction fee:-.
   No matter what other complain about but now the transaction fee from peer to peer network is reduced to a significant amount when we consider overseas transactions from country to country .
With the acceptance of segWit addresses and wallets the transaction fee is very minimal.

2. It's creating job opportunities
Bitcoins is creating job opportunities for the oneswho are not being able to work from home and get a descent payscale .
Many of them are involved in minning and even a higher level of population is earning though forum and campaigns and that's creating job opportunities for everyone around it that even government is not being able to provide.

3.Its keeping check on the whales and the big business personalities who are in association with banks controlling the people and their money, not always it is beneficial for them, most of the times it's biased .

I'm not sure that this can be called a world problem, but bitcoin is able to return gold the status of world money. Bitcoin was originally created as digital gold. Therefore, if a part of the fund is stored in bitcoins, then it should be a gold fund - this is the main idea. Bitcoin prepares the ground for the return of gold to the status of world money.

In some cases I think Bitcoin can help to reduce it but I think bitcoin alone is not the solution for the world's problem. They have a lot of problem of world to be addressed not just money issue or financial crisis, yes it will help but the solution is not in the hand of Bitcoin but those people in government position that empower the laws and regulations  of every country and they have right and authorized to the solution, and also the people who inside their premise.

I live in a developing country, so a lot of cheating happens especially in government. A lot of corruption happens, and punishment against corruptors is not worth the public expectation. With blockchain can help reduce and even eliminate corruption in my country, because blockchain system is so transparent that it can be seen by the masses. your question is only the last line and it is vague at best. the world has a lot of problems, what do you have in mind that you want bitcoin solving?
bitcoin may or may not be able to solve it. for example is it the charge back scam that the merchants suffer worldwide? then yes bitcoin is solving that!
is it world hunger? then no bitcoin is not solving that!

Oh surely that information is true but very well known to everyone here so it wasn't needed really. Well coming to the real question, I dont really think that it can solve the worlds problem. It is really limited to personal use for now and upto the level of local trades for now. It can be used world wide, yes off course but not now as there is lot of limit on the business that are accepting it. It is not as widely known as it should have been because of many countries not accepting it as legal tender in first place. There are many issues which can not answer your question properly at the moment. But for now it can not solve words problem! It will someday in the future if global legal tender is approved.
