Nikki Haley has erupted in another fiery Russophobic rant, warning that Russia will “never be America’s friend.” Moscow can try to behave “like a regular country,” but the US will “slap them when we need to,” Haley said.

The US ambassador to the UN is not known for her friendly stance toward Moscow, but her new take on US-Russia relations stands out among even her most rabid ramblings. Speaking at Duke University in North Carolina on Friday, Haley admitted that friendly relations with Russia is an unlikely prospect, adding that the Trump team has done more against Moscow than any other administration since Ronald Reagan’s tenure.

It's sad to see how the diplomatic relations that have been developing for years are breaking down. I do not know if the Russian president's fault is in this, or indeed, these are the two countries that want to grab the whole world, but the time is restless.

The most important thing to remember here is that the Russian troops are in Syria, after getting the invitation from the Syrian president. On the other hand, the American forces are in Syrian soil illegally. They don't have the permission either from the Syrian government, or from the United Nations.

Countries are not a humans, they can't be friends. They can be ally or a enemies. I just remembered the old quote : Great Britain has no constant friends or enemies but rather constant interests

Syria got under attack by USA / France and Britain. It is time for the reaction from Russia and Iran.

USA if forcing Middle East for a big war as they want to build this land as per there own plan. And they are thinking it is easy.

The Americans are just provoking the Saudi vs Iran rivalry and then sitting back and enjoying the increasing revenue from the arms sales. Russia is also benefiting from arms sales to Iran, but they don't want another major war.

BTW, to effectively deal with Russia, you should never tell them what you think about them.  Tell them what they want to hear but do your own thing.  If they object to your plans or new military installations, divert, deny and change the subject.  Or plainly ignore their objections and keep saying that Russia is America's best friend.

What they are doing is just stupid.  Instead of giving a bear a pail of rotten apples while stepping back and reloading your .308 rifle, they are poking him with a stick and laugh.  Plain stupid.

Nikki Haley thinks U.S special forces will come to help her if Russian special forces take her away   ;) Till now USA has been bombing tribesmen in Afghanistan.

But this doesn't make much sense, considering US population is more than 2 times exceeds Russian population and half of Russian territory is inhabited.

I don't know enough about Nikki Haley to say whether or not she should be fired, but this definitely seems stupid. How can one little person declare that another country will always be an enemy? So much of a country's foreign police just depends on very small groups of people "at the top". They make all the decisions and hardly ever as the average person what they think. If you ask Americans what the thing about Burmese people or what foreign policy should be like with Burkina Faso, the vast majority will have no idea what to say. I'm sure that Russia's relations with the US are similar. I'm sure that most people in Russia don't think much about American's as people, but rather just about what their governments are doing or what propaganda is being spread. It's the same vice-versa. If the smalls groups of people in government change, so many things can change much faster than many may expect.

This is very contradicting news because according to Trump, The USA and Russia want to super friends in the international level and i think that it would be in the best interest of everyone in the world if the powerful countries get along very well.

Such statements dont surprise me. Look at the territory of Russia on the map. Its huge. I think this fact is very irritating to America. Hence we see such a strong aggression.
