Hello!

We are Pavel Němec and Pavel Volek, CEO and CTO of Signals. We want to simplify alghoritmic trading, allow anyone to create strategies and use modern innovations like machine learning. We will be answering questions live from 16:00 CET (UTC +1) for around 2 hours before we have to get back to work.

Our goal si to arm cryptotraders with machine intelligence and help them to maximize profits in traditional day-to-day trading. No coding skills are required to use the platform, people can simply drag and drop indicators (like TA, machine learning, crowd wisdom and much more) or data sets and put them together in a functional strategy. Then connect it to any exchange via API and let it do the work.

When do you expect we will be able to use first strategies from the marketplace? Other than what is currently there, I mean real trading. Thanks.

Pavel Němec: Hello, thank you for the question. From technical point of view adding live trading is quite easy step. We are already connected to the exchanges (downloading the trading data) and we are sending Telegram notifications to demonstrate strategies assembled by Signals team. Instead of sending the notifications, we need to send signals to your account on the cryptoexchange.

What is more complicated is legal framework for that and security audit of all systems which must be done before launch of this feature. At this point our development team focusing on creating Signals Language - which is programming tool where developers and programmers will be able to create their own trading strategies and offer them to other in Strategies Marketplace which you know from Signals Alpha. After we finish and publish this feature we want to do the security audit and after that the live trading feature will be launched. The live trading feature is thus expected to be launched in the next months. Depending on how much we will raise in the token sale, we will be able to speed up the development process.

Last few months were hard for crypto (and me :D), because I'm not a good trader and I like to HODL anyway. I felt like I'm missing on some profit during bearish market.

How would Signals help me in times when coins are stagnating and only going down?

Pavel Volek: Our algorithmic trading expert Jan Budik has written a an article on the Signals blog nicely answering your exact question. Basically there are always some local bullish and bearish tendencies, and the smart strategies are just clever enough to discover the right moments to enter and exit. Rather than trying to rewrite the blog post here, let me link the article: https://blog.signals.network/smart-trading-strategies-a2ce59c3a33d. I will be more than happy to clarify any unclarities you might have.

Why have you never updated alpha version? If you don't update it, it seems like you're not even trying to develop anything other than marketing, so it looks like a scam.

Pavel Volek: There is much more to Signals than it is visible in the alpha. Signals platform, is a very complex system, and one of the main feature is to open the platform for developers. In order to do that, we are implementing our own Signals Language, which will allow developers to access all the tools our framework is providing, interact with the data sets, implement own indicators and strategies. This is a necessary step in the roadmap, unfortunately, it is not visible for the current Signals users. We are also working on some enhancements on the front-end part of the platform, but the bottom line is we are extending the team to be able to more paralelise the development, and the more successful the token sale will be the more we will be able to speed up the development.

Do you negotiate any new partnerships?
Pavel Němec: Yes, we do. But the same as with our partnerships with iExec, Stox or the Foxconn data center SafeDx, we can not communicate it before the partnership is closed. Although what I can say is that there will be maybe one more announcement even before the end of this month. :)

Do you have some front end developper, designer and so on ? your team seems more composed of data scientist, machine learning specialist and back end developper... How do you plan to make a user-friendly interface ?

Pavel Němec: Yes, our team consist of much more people than you can see on the main page of the Signals website. There you can see only the core members to show that the team has the necessary experience for the advanced features of the platform. There are more team members - designers, front-end / back-end developers, marketers. I think the best prove of how the team is able to build a user-friendly platform is to try out the alpha 🙂 https://app.signals.network
