For the time being, significant news on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general has been rather quiet lately. Lingering somewhat out of the spotlight, bitcoin has been given a chance to finally begin its growth again. As long as it remains untouched by major news and generally negative reports, it should be opposition free in its recovery. However given the current state cryptocurrencies are in, it is extremely hard to say that this is the end. For now it is one foot in front of the other for cryptos. As we have seen the market fluctuate continuously, the bitcoin value is down, currently at a bitcoin price below $ 7000, this is an opportunity we can invest in. I believe it will soon recover and thrive and I hope by the end of 2018 it will reach $ 25,000.

Been saying we would spend a nice enough time in the 6k to 7k are to consolidate a bottom. Once people realized the perfect buy entry was February and we are not going back to sub 6k, the FOMO will kick in again. Every day we wake up above 6k is another day of strong consolidation, making the chances of FOMO mania higher.

I predict we are at 5 figures easily during the summer, ATH being very realistic. The people that claim it will take 3 years for BTC to reach a new ATH are the actual deluded ones.

bitcoin has lowered to $ 7000. The bitcoin market is no longer exciting. This is a good time to buy bitcoin. I believe in the next bitcoin will increase strongly again. Bitcoin will reach a new high of $ 20000. so people should buy bitcoin and i am also buying it.

At the moment bitcoin is slightly below $7000 on coinmarketcap showing an increase of 1.25%. There is fluctuation at the $7000 level but there is no direction either way.

Bitcoin is on stable value , it means that bitcoin the true value , not manipulative anymore.

7k approx is very low as btc would be expected to be in 5 digit mark. Will may be the month where btc could cross 10k mark and again bring cheer at the face of all the people who believe in the btc and the reason of smile for making new people millionaire?

I'm an optimist in real life. That's real. But with such falls I think about bitcoin's abilities to grow again. Bitcoin is like a dying animal trying to grab life!

BTC is stabilizing. Which is a relief for day traders. This could be the lowest we see for the upcoming summer. FOMO will be setting in, and prepping for the summer holding.

As a trader its not at all an exiting news but as per a bitcoiner that planning to buy more bitcoins then it's the perfect and right time to buy more bitcoins. And also  I hope without making any lag  bitcoin will make amaze everyone through their return back in to that proud position.

Maybe another consolidations will set in between $7K to $8K and gradually the price of btc will be bounce back but I don't expect so much volatility in the price as it used to be there is a bit of stability in the price recently however for the price to raise up so many strong resistance ahead needs to be broken.

I think as long as it stays above $6000, it is good and I feel not bad because if it drops to below $6000, then that will be so bad. My only hope is that.

Guess that's human nature. Since this slump has lasted for at least a month, when the gains quicken people start to think it's "safe" again to buy, that it wouldn't tank. Then as you said, the feeding frenzy starts. Then it only become a matter of deciding when to dump and if you'd be able to buy back for cheap later.

The price of bitcoin has been fluctuating in between $6k and $7k. Many people had predicted that it would come down to 3k, but that hasn't happened, which is a very good thing. In my opinion, it would maintain its current price in coming months.

Just ignore these idiots. If people consider Bitcoin at current levels to be a dying animal, they are mentally challenged. We hover around the highest ever levels, and people keep moaning about last year's peak.

That peak didn't reflect our progress in this market and fundamentally, and came probably one or two years too soon. These peaks have to be discarded in order to look at the market with a clear mind.

I am sure that when we're like two or so years away from now, people will start worrying about the same nonsense when the price for example falls from the $50,000 mark to $30,000 in a matter of months. It never ends.

Although bitcoin is stuck at low price . now it is in $7k . but we can see whole market is fluctuated . but still believe within some months bitcoin will strongly raise up. So this is the time to buy and hold.

Makes me wonder why some people are still openly predicting a fall to 5k USD. If you are right this is their swan song. An attempt to scare people off in hope that there will be a one last push for the bottom that will allow them to go in. Or it may actually be the way they see things, as a continuing downtrend, especially after this last dump 2 days ago that ended people's hopes for a quick run towards 9k USD.

Well that's really something to look forward with knowing yhat Bitcoin had a rough start this year. Hopefully it will be continuous in order for Bitcoin to recover particularly with its market value. Also, still expect for sudden downfalls in the market given that Bitcoin is naturally volatile. For now,continue holding and avoid selling in order to avoid loss of profit.

You're right, the price of bitcoin has become more stable, I think the stable price is an advantage. But everyone wants more value than Bitcoin. Manipulations can always be, but it is important to be prepared for manipulations.

So... what's the big deal you are saying as if it has hit it's all time price this is nothing not even the base if the price needs to rebound it alteast needs 10000$ or even more because in past the price has reached 7000$ but it had collapsed immediately or couldn't sustain in long run

You do seem pretty optimistic to be honest. It's true, we've been stuck between $6k-$7k for quite long, thus, I do expect that there will be a rise in price sooner or later. However, I do doubt that it's going to reach a new all time high, talking about this year. The hype has pretty much died, compared to summer when it was one of the most popular controversial subjects. I don't doubt the possibility of Bitcoin, I doubt that 2018 will be the year for new records. That's my personal opinion though.

Not only bitcoin but other many altcoins also rise now. I think if there will be no very bad news, this rise will continue, but I don't expect another crash.

It looks like Bitcoin has a nice support at $6500-7000.  Hopefully it takes off again this year.  Negative news and FUD have driven many people away from Bitcoin.  We just need positive news to bring the attention back.  Then it might shoot up to the moon. 

Nevermind the market and just go on holding your stocks, there you will worry and expec nothing on this jeopardized network. Yes the possibility that Bitcoin price will grow is there but I think this not not happening in this time. Maybe the price will go up in the later part of the year like in the final quarter I guess.

It rather looks like Bitcoin is going nowhere. The price seems stuck around $6800 and no one can say whether it will go up or down. Experts say that when it moves, it will be with huge paces, up or down. So, let's hope for the best and that the price may soon reach 12K again.

No one can boldly give the price of bitcoin at the moment. We are all doing guess work and because majority including me are hodling bitcoin as our major currency on the internet, we hope the price will get to its best in due time. As many investors predicts; in Q1 Bitcoin will hits the double bottom. So many FUDs said it will crash and so on, and yet Bitcoin is still here and getting stronger.
If you read the news lately, several billionaires already invested in Bitcoin, that means a lot of trust and faith will be build upon this. This is the fundamental in getting Bitcoin growing even further.
I do believe that once Bitcoin break the 7K barrier, it will grow fast toward Summer and steady around 10K. And toward end of the year Bitcoin will have a anew ATH again, more than previous year (> 20K).

We saw strong support of bitcoin at 6.7k$ level and now its almost steady at 6.9k$ level for almost 4 days now negative news and fud seems slowly vanished, are whales and big investor done for their accumulation and we expect reversal price if bitcoin? to early to say but with the current price movement it shows good sign to bitcoin as price seems stabilized at the current level.

Looks like it didn't matter if Hillary or Trump won, we are going to end up in war anyway it seems... this sucks. It may pump the Bitcoin price to the moon, but what's the point if the world is destroyed? I just hope this doesn't escalate to ridiculous levels, and with Russia in the equation you never know. They need to get their shit together, both sides. I don't know if the gassing were real or not, but in any case, you must consider as a president, if trying to save a certain population with a missile attack will not end up in more casualties in the long run due the possibility of counter attacks escalating quickly from Russia and co.. we don't want that.

I like your optimism unlike other holders here that because they see bitcoin is down for this time, they would like to say that it's dead.
