Title: When will existing blockchains be hackable Post by: simongoat on April 12, 2018, 01:18:38 PM As I understand it bitcoin, ether etc are not hackable with the current technology we have. With quantum computing and AI will this change? And are blockchains able to adapt?

As far as I know, quantum computers might be capable of getting around our all encryption algorithms. This will cause a lot of mess once quantum computers become affordable and more efficient. It is probably matter of years. Tt took a lot of time and effort to create PCs we know today. Let's hope that neither of it will happen anytime soon.
