Been following this one.  The advertising part isn't even interesting to me.   The 1.2 MIL TPS is what's crazy!  https://youtu.be/ujNavTEn-7I?t=1m50s  When Ternio licenses that tech to other industries it's going to be huge.  

I think this is the next sleeper ICO.  I put in a little already and contributing more later this week thanks to ETH and BTC headed back up.

Does Ternio have any working competitors now?

Nope.  That's why I like them.  They have first mover advantage in a niche market that has billions of dollars flowing.

I would like to clarify. Do you write that Ternio is in Stellar (XLM)? How does this work? Is the coin in the system Stellar (XLM)?

That is correct.  We use a combination of IBM's Hyperledger Fabric and Stellar to generate the TPS scale.  The token is XLM based.  ;D

Thanks!  Ternio's 1.2 million tx/s blockchain has applications outside of programmatic advertising, however that is our focus for now.  It's a big market and ready for a solution.  

Is your token POW of POS?

Neither.  Our Lexicon blockchain technology relies on a Byzantine agreement system.  It uses modified versions of Hyperledger Fabric and Stellar.

Not compete, but complement.  Google has many advertising products.  Some are software tools like DFP (doubleclick for publishers) and DBM (double click bid manager).  Others are closed ecosystem ad networks like adwords/adsense.  With adsense, google is selling the media (advertisements).  Ternio doesn't sell any media.  That's why so many companies are fine utilizing our tech - it doesn't threaten their business  ;)

Ternio's technology can be used with all of Google's software and (if Google choses) can be integrated with their ad network as well.

The fact that Stellar is having companies of this caliber pick XLM over ETH says a lot.  I think Stellar will be a top 5 coin in a year.

For anyone interested, we are going to be releasing a 3rd party verification of our transaction speed (written report + video).   We had an independent company come in and audit Ternio's Lexicon blockchain.  This was to appease anyone who may be skeptical of the claim.  :)

Good question!   First let's address the problem.

50% of ever ad dollar goes to the supply chain.  That means that if BMW spends $1.00 to advertise on WSJ, then WSJ only collects $0.50.  That is absurd.  In addition, WSJ has to wait 30-120 days (1-4 months) to be paid for showing that impression.  Last, WSJ has no idea how many companies transact to deliver that ad.  Many times it's 20-30 companies that sit in between BMW and WSJ (that's where 50% of the spend goes.)

Ternio brings transparency to this process, enabling WSJ to understand how many intermediaries sit between their site and BMW.  With this knowledge, WSJ can compress the supply chain to recapture the majority of the $1.00 BMW spends.   In addition, Ternio enables WSJ to be paid in real time.  No more waiting months to collect.  

1) Collect a much higher percentage of ad dollars
2) Collect at the time of impression delivery - enabling better cash flow to run their business.

What makes your project different from other similar projects?

What projects/companies are you referring to?  I can speak specifically to the differences.  Some other companies are in the digital advertising space, but no other company is able to do what Ternio can.

That AMA was what made me a believer.   Much easier hearing the founders talk about the problems and how Ternio solves them.  Most people don't understand advertising and don't see how under valued this project is.   Plus I don't know of another company that spent that much time actually answering the public questions.

Very disappointing project as of now. Given all of its credentials etc etc... it should be running along the same price point or even more given the supply so on and so forth with the likes of crypto.com  Come on Ternio quit bsing bro.
