You will still need a wallet that has private keys written inside it.

If you have encrypted a wallet-file, you need this exact file to decrypt it (to be able to access your private keys). If you have used your passphrase as a brain wallet, you need to hash your passphrase: sha256(your_passphrase). If you were using an online wallet, you need your identifier or email and your passphrase to access it. What wallet were you using? Did you use a HD wallet? Were you told to write down a 12/18/24 word seed? If so, do you still have it? Your seed (if you have one) can be used to generate all of your private keys (without the need of the passphrase). The OP did not provide enough information to understand his problem and help him. We don't know what he means when he says "passphrase", and we don't know what wallet he is using. |
