I have recently been doing a lot of trading and have gotten a variety of tokens and some btc and ether don't what to do just yet and holding for too long isn't really working too well, how can i minimize my losses? reinvestment options?

Minimize losses: stop loss.
Maximize chances: hold utility coins.

Bitcoin. Litecoin. Ethereum. This is exactly the order of priority for me in crypto. Bitcoin will always and should always be more than half of my portfolio. Everything else relies on the success of the leader. Altcoins for me I always love Litecoin as one of the oldest projects. I still do not support Ethereum but I am holding it for a few years.

Look at utility first (then, therefore, Monero should be in that list).

As of now I don't experience buying coins in my entire crypto time but if given a chance to buy I will go on bitcoin and ethereum because of the different characteristics they have and I think they have more chances to be profitable.

I don't believe ETH going to be huge in this year like 2017, With lightning network is on the way and the Prices are below Litecoin should be the Best coin to invest and Then Bitcoin. Lightning network will lead cryptocurrency towards mass adoption and next bull run will be huge for both btc and ltc. And there are many alt coins in the dips too which are very good to give a shot.

Bitcoin and Ethereum is the long run coin so don't panic your investment you will earn 2x profit in soon. Because all the coins are down in past three months know it is back to form. If you want to stop the losses don't trade anymore you must wait for two months again all the coins are reached in the huge position then you can try the trading know you must holding your investment.

Crypto values are very volatile. No one can really tell which crypto will make us profit but with what I've learned and read for the past 2 years about bitcoins value it is really trustworthy. You will have security with your investments if you hold it long term. Aside from the fact that difficulty of acquiring bitcoins will increase every 4 years, bitcoin has a very solid community of supporters so even if there are so many FUD and bad events, BTC will always remain standing strong.

All I can suggest is diversify your portfolio but atleast go with 65% - 70% BTC, 25% Eth, and the rest percentage place it into altcoins that you wish to invest in. It's really up to you where your heart is. All I can say is that bitcoin is a very good store of value and it will always be the best crypto.


I concur with this. If you're an emotional investor seeking short term profits a stop loss should be the best thing to do. Those 3 cryptos that you chose are solid ones when it comes to community back up and the people behind the technology. EOS and STEEM are also promising when it comes to innovation so better add this up to your portfolio as well for a very good profit in the future.

I just bought more Bitcoin arround 6500 USD and I bought some Ethereum arround 290 USD, because both will fly in the future!! I think Litecoin could also fly, but I bought some Dash instead!

To minimize your losses, don't get into variety of tokens as most of them are just useless tokens that are mostly moved by pump and dump groups.

as for day trading, altcoins are best most of the times because of the way they are pump and dumped. basically anything that can be easily manipulated and pumped a lot in a short time can be super profitable which is why the altcoins with lower prices are always pumper's favorites.

It will be vary based on your investment.If you have a plan to inverse 1500$ in oneshot.Then bitcoin is the best option to inverse your money.Suppose you have a Idea to inverse 1000$,surely ETH will be the best option.Incase you have only 500$ or less than that,you can choose the LTC.So the answer will be vary based on the inverse money.

if i were you i will invest in both Btc and ETH, i choose both because rightnow they are the most value coins on the market, btc is dominating the market and having the highest value in the entire market, ETH is promising because its potential to develope and rise in just a short time, so it will be very much more safe but still profitable if we invest in both BTC and ETH.

I will simply suggest you to hodl for some more time as market has started turning green and soon in Q3 of the 2018 you will seek sudden price pumps and your initial investment will grow 2-3 times in that period and you can cash out your profits then. In order to minimize your losses you should avoid these reinvestment options and just stay calm and hodl in terms of btc,ETH,LTC and definitely you will get profits.

The real market has not really recovered. I think after a few days the market will go up, the next day will go down. If you are trading at the present time. You should sell when profitable. Should not be kept for too long. The market can go down any minute

You've just said recently, right? base on the bolded parts of the sentence, so for how long did you hold those assets? a month or two? cause holding crypto takes a lot of time to kill in order to see the profit but not as long comparing for the investments in metals or stocks but that can be argued base on the assets that you've invested and the condition of the market when you've entered, timing is also important when buying some coins cause you may witness some massive dips in the past months, you are not losing as long as you are not selling.

I suggest you switch to btc, because the btc price goes down not too far and btc always catches a very significant increase, currently the market is less friendly, so I suggest you to hold it first.

Holding works but it also depends how long do you hold. I think to minimize loss you should invest in coins that do not lose value much in crash like btc, monero.

Go for some Bitcoin, get some privacy coins, go for the best exchange coins and don't miss the platform facilitation coins at all. It really depends on your taste on which coins do you choose to hold but if you happens to know the top 200 coins in the market cap you will then get your good profit. There is a certain period of time on where they really sells it with a higher price so they could easily gain the profit that they want but it is too hard to find a valuable coins if you don't even know their background. That's why every road map of a new ICO is being read carefully and research all of their team members to know how trustworthy they are btw.

The best to buy of the three between BTC, LTC, or ETH is of course bitcoin. No need to argue on that. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency. It has a high command over all other cryptocurrency even if ethereum or litecoin surpassed the coin market capital share of bitcoin, bitcoin still affects the price of all the altcoins. Next to me is ethereum, it is somewhat giving me good return of profit for now and the least is LTC. I do not hold much LTC but price is slow moving.

The reinvest option should be for you to buy those coin that are doing well now and cost below $10 dollars. I think ripple should be one of the options for you and I think you can also invest in wave, Neo, xem and ethereum  classic. Most of thsee are going to give you three time of the current value If you can invest in them now.

Holding should bring you some profits if you have coins for long now. After all, bitcoin reached 20k dollars last year. Everyone who sold it then made good profits.If you have lost some capital in trading then that is also normal. Every trader comes across such situation in his career. We have diffefent favorites and I think for sure some of them are favorite litecoin, other is ethereum and other is bitcoin but depends to us what is best to invest right now . Because the pricd of these coins our base to us who are invested. I my self invest in btc 30% of all my portofolio, ethereum 30% and 40% i use it to invest in some really good and legit ico. I do due diligence before investing. If the start up is real i will put. 50% of a portfolio in bitcoin because everything centeres around it.
When bitcoin climbs the alts follow and the same with fallbacks.

As for altcoins, the "reliables" are the ones refered to as utility coins
these are established and have a working product with a big backing
and they are indeed Litecoin, ethereum (monero and dash)

the best way to recover or minimize your loss is to hold it until it is back or maybe you can buy it back at a much lower price so when the pump comes I think all your losses will be covered.

For me  i trust bitcoin to buy because that is the king of coins so that i think bitcoin is good for investment and we can minimize the loses of money  if you have a patience to wait the good price so hold it the bitcoin for your future because we can trust bitcoin of the good pricing.

4th best coin that I can include in this list for me is Monero. Its problematic but great anon coin and many people are accepting it in transactions to hide their identities. Verge somewhat has better publicity but Monero is top coin..

I bought some ethereum at a price of $ 400 and now the price has gone up so far. I feel lucky to have bought ethereum at the bottom price. and I expect a lot of profit by the end of this year

you should analyze the chart so you can see a good chance, cut loss then buy back when the price is low and when the trend ups can cover your losses.

Totally agree with that. As more I survive on crypto as more ETH I try to buy. Ethereum now I think the best platform, I support NEO too, but no one can bet ETH now. Maybe in some time, but not now. Also BTC and LTC a good choice too. I bought LTC with delay as I thought. I bought it for 90 dollars. I should do that before. Anyway still it's not bad. I think for 90 % of all people BTC is the first crypto. Still this is a best choice for people who don't have much time to research other coins.
BUT I'm trying to read more about LTC recently and I have doubt about that project now. I'll do more researches but I feel that something went wrong. Or it's just BTC with their lightening network and cheap transactions.

I would consided buying Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Bitcoin, not only being the pioneer of the cryptos has the most acceptance in the market but is no longer under a financial bubble. The coin also holds a market capital of $152 billion at the moment. Hence the coin is a safe investment as compared to other coins and will give good profit gains.
Similarly, Ethereum provides you with many opportunities and not just as an investment asset. It can be used as a token for smart applications and can also be used for posting new ICOs. Also, after getting accepted from major companies like Microsoft, Intel, the coin's market value has risen. Hence it is a good potential coin.

Since when are you holding them? Those are altcoins that are never going down (well, on the last few days) so maybe you bought them months ago when everything was x3 or x4 from the actual price.

bitcoin litecoin and ethereum is on uptrend right now, bitcoin was on steady rising while all other top altcoins was following bitcoin uptrend. but now ethereum was good to buy i guess, because many ico using it.

For me, I will buy BTC and ETH. There are a few coins I have invested in such as Siacoin, Neo and Omg.

Now the market is rapidly recovering and Bitcoin will grow in the first place, and all other coins will follow it. Probably, it is now its worth to support and invest.

I am not buying BTC LTC or ETH, these coins were the stars of 2017.
This year we have ICX WAN ONT. Why would I buy coins that have x2 potential than the coins have x20 potential.
Those I wrote are better and cheaper.

I really like Bitcoin and Ethereum but investing in one or the other is great. For smaller marketcap altcoins I suggest you Maker, Syscoin, Santiment and SONM but you have to do your own research about theses altcoins before investing in and find a good entry price with technical analysis.

I bought BTC, ETH, Neo, Zilliqa, ICX, SYS, AION, ZPT. I believe that they will grow in the near future.

You should learn how to be patient. You cannot gain big profits without being patient. Trading is all about it. I would recommend buying some bitcoins and forget about them because the price will go up to the moon in a matter of time. And the proof is that last year the price reached $20k so what makes you sure that you will not gain profit if you just hold bitcoin? Patience is the key to success to be honest.

And bitcoin should be given the biggest portion of investment amount. Moreover, I am not fond of Ethereum at all. Instead of investing in Ethereum, buying bitcoin with the same amount can yield bigger profits over same period of time.The more a coin is volatile, the bigger will be the profits earned. Litecoin and Ethereum should be used for learning trading as it will keep big losses away.

I bought and hold those three coin and the rest of my money i flip on good ico. Some for long term some for flipping. Ico i invested : cindicator, dent, gvt, auctus and next ico i invest and already invested last week : dao stack, xyo network and shivom. Next targeted ico is essentia and block shipping. So far i got much profit.

Of course bitcoin. Because it is the most expensive and profitable among other currencies. And you will never burn in this area of earnings because the age of the future and cryptocurrency will always be needed.

So I think in this case my work is cut out for and I go with eth as the speed of transaction confirming blows the competition away and not forgetting how less volatile it is, which makes it good for long term investing.

i bought ETH when the price was 430$ and now  i sell it to 710$ it is my biggest profit and according to my research  ETH will increase continuously tell 2000$ but now i hold bitcoin because now the price if bitcoin is cheap and it is better chance to invest money in bitcoin. in this year bitcoin will made new highest target that's why i did not move to any way from bitcoin and wait tell bitcoin to the moon.

Bitcoin,litecoin,ethereum these three coins are good to invest. These three are high potential and promising coins. Bitcoin is good for long term as well as short-term investment. Now the price of three coins are cheap to buy. Just invest in these coins and hold it for long term will give more profit. I am planning to buy more eth for I believe that ethereum has a lot more potential as it has proven us for year rather than any other coins. I would want to purchase higher amount of it and hold it until it reach the target that I expect from it. I am confident about eth.

At this point I would choose to buy LTC, this is a promising coin in the future, LTC may surge at the end of the year, although the market is now falling back but nothing to worry. That's the rule of the Crypto market from the past.

I am pretty amazed by your decision, bitcoin is the only coin in the entire market that have a higher upward potential than any other coin and you think that the price of ETH is not high because it is not over $1k. For the price to go higher you need to have different variables and the first thing is to find out is the real word use and bitcoin is the only coin that can be used in every scenario as a currency, i would invest in BTC and LTC than ETH and i will look for new project that is promising.

I won’t criticize your choice but my honest suggestion would be to give bitcoin priority. Ethereum does not have as much support as bitcoin has. It has the largest community of investors and rich guys also embrace bitcoin first. They are supporting this coin. Ethereum totally depends on bitcoin so no altcoin is actually the real stuff. All are just shadows of the crypto king. None can compete it in any matter.

investment choice certainly chose a good investment for the long term. with the coins that are able to survive the long haul then profit generated will also be doubled. In addition, it has also been one of the strategies to avoid losses.

I really like Bitcoin and Ethereum but investing in one or the other is great. For smaller marketcap altcoins I suggest you Maker, Syscoin, Santiment and SONM but you have to do your own research about theses altcoins before investing in and find a good entry price with technical analysis.

All of the 3 coins you have already mentioned in your post are certainly worth buying. Additionally, I will invest in the most promising altcoins that will grow. These are Cardano, VeChain and Stellar, NEO and OmiseGo.

I believe only  in BTC,ETH and NEO. Other altcoins are not credible at all. Maybe something will give good profit, but the risks are too large now.

Your portfolio must be definitely %25 Bitcoin - %15 Ethereum. Rest of your investment should be %20 EOS  %20 OmiseGO  %20 NEO. If you dont want get so much risk ypu should buy more bitcoin or ethereum than other alts.

LTC is really cheap now. But i don’t see its price moving up at all.. I bought at price $85, then it fell to $75, I bought at $76, it went down to $74. LTC is totally disappointed.

you should always have at least 25% in any of the top 10 coins and at least 25% in Bitcoin in my opinion. Think about it, do you think bitcoin isnt going to 50K? Thats still a great profit, and a safe hedge. The 25% top 10 coins (LTC, ETH) have a really good chance to go up at least 10 times in the next 5 years as well, but they're IMO a little more risky than bitcoin. With the other 50% look for projects with working products, a big following, continious innovation and rolling releases, and partnerships with established and succesful companies.

It is too risky now for investment in altcoins. Altcoin market looks too weak. I prefer to be 50% in fiat and 50% in BTC. I believe in future of crypto but not in future of altcoins.
And i think we will see new bottom soon. Next bull run will be only in 2019 i think. So if you want to buy some altcoins - so wait a little, because now we have not the cheapest price. And if you want to be in crypto - so only BTC.

Mostly people is such in hurry that they want to get profit as soon as possible, but in reality what they're doing is actually long term investment. They don't want to lose even a bit of their fund. If they want to get profit soon, they should do short term, but they don't do it because they're afraid they will lose their money. Since losing money is natural in short term investment. My suggestion is try to be patient, it's hard but you'll be paid by your patience someday.

I have all of these cryptocurrencies in my portfolio. Meanwhile, I do think that the other tokens can give you the better income. These are Lisk, Credits, Gladius, OmiseGO.

You also need to remember that the availability of ethereum is unlimited so they can lose it value in ling term but bitcoin and litecoin have fixed maximum volumes so you will have value baed on its demand and supply.

This is definitely PECULIUM ($PCL). Peculium is a savings platform for cryptocurrencies. They have already have a working product. Their ico will finish in 27th September, though they are in coinmarketcap. I will hold my $PCLs until 2020. Potential is the sky for this project.

The lower cap you're coins/token to more risks you take but you're profit would much more.
The higher marketcap you're  coins/tokens the less you risk , the less you"re profits would be.
i prefer low marketcap coins to make huge profits .

Really, I will suggest that if you have enough spare cash, you can invest in these three coins because they have very good potentials and they are also promising coins but If you do not have enough cash, I will suggest you invest in bitcoin or ethereum and now is a very good time for you to invest in any of this coin as the price is still very low and hold it for long term to yield reasonable profit.

Curious. I have never heard anything about it although I have been in the crypto business for several years. My choice is different - besides Ethereum, it is Cardano and NEO. Oh, Waves is also a good altcoin.

I totally trust in BTC and ETH. I would choose these two best coins at prior. Then will move to tokens with best projects and the below tokes are the ones i traded. Few of these tokens are with Insurance platform and the remaining are with projects capturing the market so fast.

All the coins that you are talking about are long term holds, if you want to earn profits with trading then you will need to do something else, look for coins that are relatively new and that have a price lower than their ico, if you do this and take the time to read everything about those coins it is possible you find a gem or two and earn money that way.

I will now buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, Stellar and Monero. These are the cryptocurrency I trust. I believe that long-term holdings of these crypto will bring us a lot of profit in the future.
