I get angry every time,when  I see that some companies want to patent blockchain based technologies.
This kinda ruins the whole concept of the blockchain.It has to be open source and open to the public for free.
Now, some greedy banksters just wanna profit from patent royalties.Anyway,the union between blockchain and porn will be the ultimate innovation of the 21st century. ;D

Just yesterday, I shared an opinion on  The Verge Porn (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3338456.msg35007945#msg35007945), a similar discussion as the one here but centered on the supposed partnership between Verge and porn. Agreed that quite alright even moralists can't dictate what happens in business especially one with an open source if men with scared conscience decide otherwise. I honestly dislike the idea of the blockchain being used to enhance the success of pornography.

Well, this is the downside with technology. When people see an invention as promising, they will utilize it and improve it then later on claim it as theirs. How sad is that for those who originally crafted said invention. All people are doing is to change a little bit of something to the invention then trademark the same as theirs. Like everyone is doing it- now, how can we guarantee authenticity? More so, when nefarious people find something witty, they will use a good invention to proliferate their nonsensical and/or illegitimate causes. It has always been the case, hence, it is not surprising to me.

In order to find pornography in the blockchain, you need to conduct additional research. Why do I need it? If someone uses this technology to transmit some photo then he / she has the right to do so. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't read the news. Everyone has the right to use the technology in their own interests. I use blockchain for other purposes.

That's right. Stating that blockchain contains pornography is similar to saying that the Internet contains porn, and in fact it is much harder for a regular user to find porn on blockchain compared to finding it on the Internet. So, yes, nothing to worry about here.

Show me something that can be useful to the criminals and isn't used by them. They are using electric drills and angle grinders to break into houses, safes, cars... Do people care about it? Have you seen anybody talking about a possible negative aspect of power tools? Maybe we should start to limit access to these type of things. Maybe we should ask buyers for IDs?
This whole discussion about criminals using cryptocurrencies is pointless. They are using fiat, they are using the Internet, they are using computers, that's just the way it is.

Forget about porn.
The main thing is that the blockchain can be used for other necessary purposes.
This is the preservation of information, messages or art, as in the example of the Mona Lisa.

Porn is such a industry where everyone wants to keep their identity safe, there are various premium sites and chat and video rooms which require you to pay for extra services and using any sort of banking portal will get your identity revealed. Crypto and Bitcoin can be savior for such users and porn is one of the biggest growing industry everyday. It will definitely boast new crypto users.
