I am always recommend to coinmarketcap because this is more convenient to forever. Most of the experts also suggest the coinmarketcap so undoubtedly it is occupy the more consumer in this forum. But all the sites are little variation in price so we should maintain only one site is best way because many peoples are confused in price fluctuation so better we must use one website.

I use tradingview, there are many good traders, especially I like alanmasters's analysis but I don't think technical analysis fits to every coin, some coins have very little volume, they are not suitable for technical analysis.

I am mostly using coincheckup.com , because when you open a currency you can also check future projects/events affiliated to this coin, which could, sometimes, help you with the decision of investing :D

I use bitcoinwisdom, tradingview and coinmarketcap.
Trading view has a subscription model, but you can do some basic charting on bitcoinwisdom, and they have a few popular exchanges and coins.

everything's that i know.
as a trader you can not watch the price in one place because sometime you will see an error on those site/place,
something like that happened many times for me so i used more than 3 places/sites to read the live chart/price.
here is my list :
https://bitcoinwisdom.com/
https://cryptowat.ch/
https://www.tradingview.com/
https://charts.bitcoin.com/chart/price
https://www.coindesk.com/price/
https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/bitcoin
https://coinmarketcap.com/

it is recommended for you to read it from many places,so we can minimize the error/bug that may happens when we are doing the trade.

This market has one feature - a very rapid price change. Therefore, I advise you to compare prices on different exchanges, so you can find the best price at a time for yourself

I prefer direct analysis in the market and do not use any site on analysis or the like,if I'm not in the market it will only see coinmarketcap and will only see at that time how big its value.

I always monitor and do TA on bitcoin even when I'm not trading on it, if it takes a big turn alts will dip as a result, so this is key in my eyes.
For TA on alts and bitcoin, I use either tradingview or typically use exchanges with good TA tools like bittrex, kucoin or binanace, I monitor support levels and focus on the MACD cross overs, long and short EMA averages and the RSI for each coin in relation to it's support levels.

following the above I've done pretty well trading even in the bear market, just make sure to follow bitcoin as TA on your alts can be blown away by bitcoins movements.

Other handy tools mentioned like CMC for a daily overview, I've also been following https://solume.io/ and found some relation to social volume increase to price increase, district0x had a big social volume boom before going up 30% today, seen cases where booms have done nothing though, let's see if ZenCash which has had a social spike goes up tomorrow.

I have never used any of the above website for trading analysis but I have had coinalyze! I always used https://coinmarketcap.com and blockfolio to analyze any coin I want to trade on. This two website always give me what I need to trade professionally. I hardly spend a day without have difficulty in analysis the market using the foregoing website.

Indeed tradingview offers a lot of tool at the same time user can try to use it to make TA analyzation to the price analysis.
Coingecko can become the best alternative for cmc, and remember there are some market data platform already introduced its product and you can try start to get more sensitive data to increase the accuracy of your prediction.

For sure, TradingView and Coinmarketcap are good for analyzing, and also a lot of news sites and forums. By the way, bitcointalk one of the best sites for studying cryptocurrency. You just need to find threads with proper analysis and read them regularly.

Coinmarketcap sometimes doesn't catch up fast with the new projects. Sometimes there's a coin which is already listed one a couple of exchanges, but it not on coinmarketcap yet. However, they have all the top coins with the charts, markets and various useful links, so I mainly use this website. I also like their historical snapshots. They allow you to see the way market was from 2013! It is quite helpful to see which coins went out of the game and which survived throughout the whole period.

I think coinmarketcap is enough to analyze it. This site is quite practical to be used in. In addition, the beginner seems too easy to understand. plus this site has enough coins for me.

That's because to be listed on Coinmarketcap, the project needs to have 100k USD daily trading volume. Otherwise they do not list the currency and that's why you cannot see it there. I am part of a project that was release early in Feb and it got listed just last week ;) It's not that easy to get listed there, unless of course the projects starts right off trading for 100k$ per day.

I wouldn't really trust just one or two websites for price analysis. Usually what I will do is, if I find a coin that's interesting, I look at their social media sites like twitter and reddit after getting info from their website and white paper.

That's a good tactic if you want to invest long term. But if you go through every single coin while you are trading just for quick profits, I can't imagine you gaining much BTC that way.

As i see, there are so many old timer skilled trader that switching from traditional stock market and forex trading to cryptocurrency trading. They the biggest potential for lucrative profit when trading cryptocurrencies. Skilled traders heavily rely on the most trusted website for traders; the tradingview website - there are plenty of technical analysis and you can find out and help you guide which coin is a good buy for a couple of weeks or months. In my on perspective TA is does not apply on cryptocurrency as it is so volatile, it is just a "trust your instinct" strategy for this kind of game.

Good addition to this thread, I won't invest in a coin no matter what TA says if I don't have faith in the project as a whole, look for coins that are doing something unique, stand out in their field then trade with confidence knowing if you get it wrong, you'll recover quick enough.

I see lots of these low cap shit coins go up 100% in a short period, many regret missing out but I would rather play more safe and stick to real projects, quite often these shit coins mentioned come down more than they go up, if you can predict the peak then predict the death wave then good for you, much easier than it sounds though.

I like BTX and TZC as they have a very active dev team and community.

I think the "king" of websites is the Coinmarketcap as they have the biggest database of coins and they do not list any small one coin. (Their listing conditions are really something). But you still can try Tradingview or Coinigy

Haven't use Trading View yet but I'll try to visit that site. I only use CMC since I know it is like the most updated site in regards to market and I even have an application for it wherein you can also create your portfolio. Regarding the listing, I think you are aware that even though a coin is listed to various exchange it will not be listed in CMC immediately until it reached the 24hr volume requirement.

Other than this sites, you can also use coinmarketcap. Anyway, if you want more information about the coin, I think you should also read articles about that coin. And If you are only going to analyze the graph of the coins, I think you can just simply use exchange sites.

By the way Coinmarketcap asks that a new currency shall have at least $100,000 USD equivalent of daily trading volume on exchanges. That is why most small projects cannot be listed there, though they are already listed on few exchanges

It actually depends. When I wake up, I open Coinmarketcap just to see the overall situation in the market and get some quick overview, but when I start more profound analysis, I use Cryptowat.ch. I prefer it to TraidingView as it remembers all my changes and marks, and when I re-open it next time, all my marks are saved, so I can use it again, if I work in the same browser.

I use coinmarketcap and coingecko for the price analysis. I used coinmarketcap because it is the most appropriate price for me coingecko is the second that I used But mostly I used is coinmarketcap. But in trading I think kucoin is the good one but I haven't tried it yet I only used it to exchange coin to BTC. But many says that kucoin is a good one. Before they say that bittrex is also good but now it is hard to enter the platform of the bittrex. That is why they used other exchanges for trading their coin.

I usually use a coinmarketcap, and directly exchanges charts, preferably large ones, with intensive trades. For information about upcoming events I use coindar.org. Since not all coins immediately fall on a coinmarketcap, the only way to follow them is through exchanges where they are traded. Also coingecko.com is a good tool for observation.

I always use Coinmarketcap to analysis the Coins price, Market chart. This is the best website to know details about the crypto market. You can find every added coin's price, price chart, volume, exchanges list and so on. After it, sometimes I use coingecko or coinlib to check the price. But I wanna say once again, Coinmarketcap is the best ever website to check analysis the crypto market.

coinmarketcap.com has most of the basic info and price chart. For better chart with technical indicators, go to tradingview.com. Many of the exchanges also use tradingview platform to show price charts.

This site is also a good alternative for coinmarketcap, https://coincheckup.com/, because it gives you some fundamental analysis and some investment analysis as well.

I also use https://www.tradingview.com for technical analysis. Aside from that, you can follow some good chartists who would give you an idea of what coin is good to trade. Its scope is not exclusive to cryptocurrency market though because it includes foreign exchange, stocks and commodities markets too.

I'm using coinkapp.com for bitcoin & crypto price tracking. It has been highly effective in helping me formulate informed trading decisions (you see where each coin is going in terms of market cap ranking position, and you get an idea of the general market feeling via the news feed)

My advice; use trading view in combo with coinkapp. I say this because coinkapp allows a brief overview of all crypto prices, and it keeps a quick summary of the top trading view analysis discussion for each coin's fiat trading pair. So you can use it as your "portal" to trading view analysis

I dont know if this is really a question or just a site promotion but either both i dont care anyway

My only site that visiting anytime i want to be updated is Coinmarketcap which for me is reliable and accurate, though sometimes a little delay but tolerable, other than this for me is just an extra source maybe if needed one day,but for now this is fine with me

I like https://onchainfx.com/

I try to avoid coinmarketcap after they were happy taking advertising money from Bitconnect and placing a big Bitconnect banner at the top of their site. Also, they were valuing BCC market cap higher than it should have been and only changed it after it was being pointed out.

I still doubt that Bitcoin price is predictable based on technical analysis mid and long term. Why? Bitcoin is not understood and the crypto domain is still something completely new to most.

I use coinmarketcap directly because it has almost all the tokens.
However, most of the time I pay more attention to the price of bitcoin futures, so I will use bitmex to check the price.

I think everyone is using this site - ->   https://coinmarketcap.com
This is the best site to view the value of all altcoins. There you can find out on which exchange is traded altcoin and its price chart. Everyone uses it.

Coinmarket cap and blockfolio is what I usually use when checking how the market goes in general. I am able to see how big is the increase or loss and also which one remains on green at times like this wherein most are in red marks. These help me on making assumptions as well as decision about my investments. Their functions are I think enough to satisfy an investor's need.

Not an expert on price analysis but I'm looking at the price indication of coinmarketcap. It is not like those charts that has indicators and has legend of different colors. I just want to look at its history but I might migrate into a better chart viewer with those things as I've mentioned before. That's good for day traders and I'll study more of it when I'm ready to become a day trader.

I've seen posts with tabtrader and I think that's also a good one.

Those three are very good tools and it sure helped me a lot. Moreover, you don't need any special skill to operate because it's very simple to use. And I think most people also use those three.

I have a suggestion and it will much better for you to create such a page that contains all of the detail regarding the ico just like how much the ico price and the recent price of token. It will help a lot of people to discover about the price of ico itself. icostats is not adding any new ERC20 token anymore and CMC is lack of information about that

You can actually use the compare feature on ICO issued tokens as well
As an example https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/compare?coin_ids=eos,qtum,0x and scroll to the bottom
The ROI row tells you the gains made from the recorded public sale price.

These information however are harder to collect as such we are trying our best to build the database.
We constantly add tokens as we get requests

Yups, theres no most accurate site in this cryptoworld than coinmarketcap.though its sometimes delayed but yet giving the prices based on the actual value and this makes the sites favorite of more than 3/4 of members here and had been visited daily for how many times for price value

I like you, instead of updating the rates on 3rd party websites, I usually update directly on the exchange floors website, just as quickly. But somehow, I interest with cryptocompare, and I think if I can get something in that site, perhaps, I will use that site too. Thank you very much.

this depends on where the coins you have and where you trade because I see that usually some exchange places already have price charts that you can see to monitor the movement of cryptocurrency prices, whereas I usually look at coinmarketcap.
It seems to me that there is no point in using different sites to analyze the cryptocurrency market. To date, the market is in very poor condition and in all positions. Based on this, I also use only the coinmarket.

coinmarketcap.com and coingecko has been my favorites for my market watch. i also like using Trading view for my analysis. sometimes i use binance for my a quick analysis for a quick trade. since the free fail of crypto, i have not done any analysis. i prefer to observe the market Now.

in any case, if a person controls certain coins, he follows the price of the engine, where you can buy or sell it to me.all the more you need to take into account that they all exchanges or websites can show all the results that we need.

I only use TV(tradingview) and cmc (coinmarketcap)
these two websites are more than enough. TV is already enough for analysis. we use cmc for prices. what more do you get

These are what I'm using as well.
I usually use tradingview and most of the time I don't have to take time analyzing the whole market.
I just look on coinmarketcap and that's it, prices would tell me what's happening to the market and what I'm about to do (buy/sell).

BitcoinWisdom and Coindesk are the most recommended websites to analyze cryptos charts and price movements so that you can make your own decisions when trading as these websites offer advanced trade tools.

To determine the average price for a currency I use https://coinmarketcap.com (https://coinmarketcap.com). But don't forget that the site itself (not only coinmarketcap) can give false average prices. Therefore, always check the information on several resources + for a detailed analysis of prices for each individual coin and opportunity to view the chart I can use the https://www.tradingview.com/ (https://www.tradingview.com/)

Well to be honest i was using Coinmarketcap.com so far but their market manipulation and promotion of a particular exchange and its shitcoin has made me annoyed, Its been a while i have been looking for a site which can counter CoinMarketCap and it looks like i found best CoinMarketCap alternative Called CoinMarketFeed https://coinmarketfeed.com/coins the best part about CMF is they have in depth analysis of Coin Performance its Development and Social tracking along with latest Cryptocurrency News. I really love their Easy and Clean UI as i can see they are still in Beta version so will give it a try its Lighting Fast.

Starting point is coinmarketcap.com or coinpaprika.com that has the volume to marketcap ratio handy also. Using tradingview.com for charts of individual coins.

I do have applications as well. CoinGecko. I would rate it one of the best applications to find the price. List of exchange names are shown where the concern coin is listed. Coinmarketcap is another best one i always cross check with. Then i keep best exchanges on front screens to know the value of coins i am trading with.

I usually see and analyze a coin using a coinmarketcap website because there is a lot of coin information that I want to buy, starting from the social media, website, total supply, price history etc.

most people seem to use coinmarketcap, and that is indeed a suitable and popular site, CMC is a user friendly site and complete data with a nice collection of coins. but not everything in CMC is a good project in my opinion

In any case, I would like to draw attention to the fact that this resource does not always reflect all the cryptocurrencies that exist today. To many say that this is due to their popularity, but cmc and quite less popular coins than any other.
