Do you have any screenshots for this?

It's not the first time that someone has received a PM of this format that tried to phish people into entering their forum usernames and passwords. I've received one of those PMs as well, from someone that I didn't know.

I don't think that the person that sent you the PM who is also affiliated with sportsbet.io intentionally did it. Most likely, his account was hacked as well due to his password being leaked, perhaps phished in the same way. Just don't click on the link, and let him know. But you're right, I think sportsbet.io has had some pretty shady dealings in the past, which resulted in their reputation being tainted: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=832366

Can you please show the message?

When I click the link it says: "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you."

WorldLeague is definitely part of the sportsbet fraud scheme!

They claim that World League is sponsored by sportsbet, but it is the same.

Haha these shit-holes can go heights to scam people.I wonder when these bubble headed twats will realise how big this scam really is.

@OP,the said member's password was reset recently so I believe they're hacked and the culprit might be the one sending those fake links or whatever we are not able to view at the moment. That spam is mostly deleted by the mods.

Yeah when you click from this post it shows "off limits to you" but when you click from personal message it takes me to a page where it shows "wrong password "

He recently changed the link it's not forwarding to that phishing site it's forwarding to zarzab loan page but originally this was the page " https://bitcointalk.org-index.php.actionprofileu.myrippleaddress.com/?u=max2607&r=1161170.4860"

Hey guys, and just to set the record straight-

We were notified by Forum Admin "theymos" that this account was recently compromised by a known hacker, the same individual that is trying to attack others.

We had nothing to do with this type of activity and the password has since been changed.

Please, NEVER click any unfamiliar links!

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, and I can assure you that neither Sportsbet nor World League had anything to do with this attack.

Cheers!
