No body can predict it by accurate, before make invest and put your money in to crypto you have to learn first the fundamental of the project include the team behind it. There are new project everyday and in my opinion some new project that has massive potential is AION, Wanchain  and Vechain. To have better risk management put your money in to minimum 5 different altcoin and should include ETH and NEO too.

to know which alcoin you have prospects in the future you can see it in exchange, there you can see the top 100 altcoin types that have market interest, if you ask my opinion about altcoin good for investment year 2018 - 2019 then ETH is my choice for investment long term because ETH prices tend to be safe and have good potential in the crypto market.

I usually monitor the development of coins from time to time. and thus I was able to evaluate the development of coins. In addition, I can see some advantages of coins each period. I see Ethereum as the top of the coin.

It can't get the investors attention without an understandable vision. Then the product correlating to the product is very crucial. Taking peoples opinion to invest on coins isn't the best thing to do. People will always tend to be biased towards the coins they have invested, to encourage other people to invest on those coins. The best way to choose the coins in to find a coin and "evaluate" it yourself. I would suggest you to go to coinmarketcap and look for top trending coins. Choose one of those coins and see if it has potential or not.

I think it's hard to choose a promising coin among the great many existing now. I made my choice and I'm not only going to invest, but also participate in its campaign bounty.

Mosly people are talking about platfors here. Ethereum, NEO, EOS - those are all platforms. LTC and IOTA are cryptocoins by definition and RIPPLE is centralized crypto. Those are competitors this year.

My opinion, My top coin are ETH, XRP, NEO, CS, WAVER, STRORM, TRF, TKY, EOS, MIOTA etc. Because these all coin has a good market cap. and I'm  holding these coins.

For altcoin is a lot of choices and has good potential. Tron is my second choice after investing in ethereum. Seeing the movement while riding is very interesting to be a place of investment. I'll go invested in Tron for long term investment, many people say Tron is the next ethereum and I believe it.

Everyone here has their favorite coins. And of course, everyone will advise you. But there is no one identical formula for all. Here I have 3 friends who are also passionate about investing money. But everyone has his own opinion, we only sometimes agree on certain points. Monero is one of the most promising altcoins that will definitely witness enormous gains in 2017. TOP altcoins have long been withdrawn on a coinmarket. The large growth of all other coins is just an accident.

XLM - partnership with IBM, the mission and vision of this altcoin is too bright that I think it will soar high soon(I invested heavily on this one so I'm positive with it)
XRP - most of the crypto analyst criticizes the never ending partnership with banks of this altcoin that almost kill the main essence of being decentralized but if this continue I think it will make you some good profit if you start investing now.

There is only one cryptocurrency I’m aware of today, bringing some really cool technology into the space: DIVI.

Cryptocurrency is better than FIAT in several ways:

Really those are just a few of the main reasons, but overall cryptocurrencies are far superior in speed, cost and security than any fiat currency.
