Title: Don't have an electricity bill... should I be mining? Post by: jofus87 on November 22, 2013, 09:59:48 PM I live on a military base, and I don't pay for utilities. Am I stupid for not mining? Any reason I shouldn't?

Also because I doubt you have the infrastructure in your dwelling to be able to leverage free electricity enough to make a profit worth messing with in the first place. Maybe not worth for GPU mining, but running ASIC for free is not bad if you can buy it cheaply Title: Re: Don't have an electricity bill... should I be mining? Unless you can be sure you'll have consistent free electricity for the next year, and you have access to a large initial investment for a good spec miner, it's too risky an investment to make.
