Title: PCI-e x1 vs PCI
Post by: Axez D. Nyde on August 05, 2011, 07:56:33 AM
Hi!

Does anyone know whether it'd be possible to run a PCI-e x1 (or a x16 card that is only running at x1 bandwidth for that matter) in a old PCI slot?

Take care of power consumption at PCI-Port. With a big graphics card this can overload the mainboard.
