The value I saw in my investments this morning got me thinking "do I continue with crypto or just quit?". Honestly am greatly concerned.

Why?
I'll tell you so that this is not the worst time, it was worse when people did not manage to sell their coins and the market collapsed many times, so do not overexcute everything!

Decreasing value of investment is norma; as long as you know you're coins. There are corrections maybe, a dump or negative news about it. Try to learn the fundamentals and invest only on coins you know. Fir me, ts better to invest in top coins as it is quite stable on my opinion.

Yes, I feel that way. The investment value I invest in altcoin trading comes down unnoticed before.
The influence of altcoin movements is very influential on the value of my investment.
This is quite a disadvantage and I had a chance to panic.

One small dip and you want to quit? Depends on how much profit you made/want and how much you're willing to wait. Better times will come (unless you invested in absolute garbage), we just don't know when.

If that is the case then I tell you it's normal that you experience things like that. Patience is the key. Learn to wait until you make profit.

I also feel the same, not only about trading coins but also about ICO investments. Lot of friends of mine quit ICO investment sphere due to overwhelming number of scam

How long you investment in cryptocurrency? If you make it at least several months, you have to know that it is normally. Crypto market have regular pumps and corrections.So there is no reason to give up. Just be patient.

Bro, you should know that it's a normal movement, there's a time that it will increase and decrease. I think you need to do more research about the investing and study about the CryptoCurrency on how to fight your fear. It's better to continue than to quit, how can you success if you will quit.

This is not required to worry about the decline in investment value. Just stick to your holding till year end and also work for new bounty program and take free reward as a new coin. Maybe this could be cover up your losses when you accumulate at year end.

You have a point, you will not become a successful person if you quit and not continue on your goal. You don't need to worry about the decreasing your investment it's better to wait and hold, remember patience is the key of success.

I too have this strange feeling. Compared to December I added many other investments. The market recovers but my overall remain stable

Don't make a mistake and look at your portfolio 15 times per day. Set some alarms, go and have fun and just be patient. Patience is the most common thing people lack, when they see a red candle they sell. If it is a good coin and a good project, it is probably just entering accumulation phase and it will recover. Trend is  hopefully changing now, alts are recovering, yours will probably as well if you don't panic sell them.

I don't know if I'm the only one concern about people always commenting about the performance of their portfolio, this will not help you. If you are talking about a week or month for me it is better but looking at the market daily and reacting to every candle chart, you will over react and not think clearly which will affect you decision going forward. Take a break and see the market from new angle

My advise to you sir, is that if you have just started gambling and trying to get the profit you want please don’t think it was easy that you will get it within a month or months. Investment is a Long term way to earn profit, be patient then try to read more and study while you are waiting for the profit you want. Set your mind that ups and down of market value is just normal that you need to absorb. Don’t quit that easy, waiting is powerful for an investors.

It's just a temporary drop for me and maybe pumping back for the next few months, inevitably unavoidable if the decline in your natural investment, should be able to understand it, where the character of such investments, can be affected by the decrease in demand and negative news can getting people to stop investing and decreasing prices, what is commonly experienced by cryptocurrency, if you are a very new person in the crypto world, it should be more observation and find the right investment strategy for you and more precisely invest some of your money in the right place , if you do not want to experience fraud and others that are currently rampant.

it is all up to you to take a look at yourself and see if you have the ability to make it in this market or not. not everyone can do it and there is no shame in that. but you have to be honest with yourself and not be greedy.

Why would you sell now? The market doesn't seem to be dipping. Even if it is, there eventually will be a recovery and this is when you can sell your coins. I personally set a realistic goal for every coin I hold (not like 10 or 100x like many do) and wait until it reaches it even if it takes a few months. Then I sell.

When did you invest in the cryptos? Did you invest during the all time high in but run? Don't worry the market is recovering and.before the end of the year you'll be alright.

Zoom out on the charts to get some perspective. The longer-term you look, the clearer the pattern is. Crypto is moving upwards, and in general the longer you stay in crypto, the greater your profits.
It is only over short-term that volatility takes over as the dominant force. Worst case at the moment is that you buy in at the Dec/Jan ATH, which puts you at a loss at the moment. But zoom out on the charts, look at it over a year or so and you see the upwards pattern.

Don't panic, and if you're not a trader then don't check the charts so often. Come back in a few months... most coins will be considerably higher than they are now.

as a real investor seeking profit you never want to stand in one place for a long time without any profit and with the possibility of a big drop and a big loss.
as a real investor you cash out from altcoins that are not performing well enough and move your funds to those that do. this way you maximize your profit.

This is normal. ICO companies are now more and more people are investing not in ideas, but in the chance to get rich investing somewhere. Yes, so do not do everything, and the majority, but the market at us always was made for the majority.

Investments? where? what investments are you talking about? if your concerns are those ICO investments well its completely looks familiar,mostof the investors wont invest today as the market has started to crash once again,leaving those ICO projects behind or without a certain outcome as most of the investors wont risk their money to these new projects.

Don't quit. Your perseverance might result a fortune in the future. I am not investment advisor but I have a few years of experienced in investing/trading in stockmarket though now I shifted to cryptocurrency, for it is more profitable in investing crypto. Anyway Losing money is part of investing because there's always risk in investing. I lose too but I did not quit thus I gain profit now. Just choose the right altcoins. I agree with you here. Never giving up is the right attitude in this scenario. Personally, I have lost some money here and there due to bad decisions on my part, but that did not dissuade me in any particular manner whatsoever. I advise you to focus on different factors like whitepaper, roadmap, development team, social media interactions, soft or hard cap etc when doing your research while choosing which coin or token to invest into. Thats normal bro, at first you know that if you invest in crypto currency the possibly of decrease and increase of your investment is there because of the platform of all altcoin by being decentralized and have volatile value so you should not be bothered about the decreasing of your investment. Whatever kind of investment you are entering pal, theres always this worry of might not getting back your capital.Its your decision making you join the cryptocurrency investment even you're well aware of its volatility so theres no need to be concern or worry right? We join crypto because we want an instant profit.Even in stock currency trading this redness in market is never been abnormal pricemove, its just practically normal.Its just a matter of faith to the coin your holding and a matter of luck mate.  :)

Look at the value of your coins when there will be a market growth as in December 2017. Then already and decide to leave you from this activity or not. In the meantime, I believe that it is still relevant to do this.

It's strange. Now is not the worst time for the crypto currency market. A month ago everything seemed very bad, however, for two weeks now the market began to recover, bitcoin and altkoins began to grow slowly in price. If you are leaving from cryto that means you will be lost your amount. Look at the chart and can i ask you about when were you buying your crypto? Can you give the more percentage about how many percentage already lost from your investment today? You shall continue and be patience.

Yes this is common in crypto investment if it not fluctuate then who will buy cryptocurrency it will lose value in the market, because of high fluctuation people like to invest in crypto coins. everybody knows now the market condition is not good and not only you every one lost their investment but holding will give good profit so don't sell your coins just hold it in few months the market will turn to full green.

The bloodbath hanged for quite a while so I would not be surprised you would say something like that but cheer up. This market will always be volatile and will be susceptible to FUDs. It will recover very soon and we all know that. For the meantime, you might want to take advantage of the cheap but legitimate and potential coins. I think you should always continue whatever happens because only cryptocurrency can give us financial freedom. I will never ask to stop investing or loose hopes . From last 4 months the market is quite disappointing , just wait for a silver lining instead of loosing the hopes and giving up on investing. 

If you held to your portfolio and didn't panic sell, you should have seen some increase in your portfolio value recently.

We have the same sentiments when investing especially when i was new i thought of quitting that day when my money was suddenly goes deep in it's price but it don't stop me from doing it. I just learn a few things and try to overcome my fear of losing money. That's how i survive investing here despite many obstacle that i had experience.

Market goes up and down, and so the value of your investments goes up and down. It's pretty normal. Your decision to quit is too hasty, it's not the best choice at this moment. Wait until the price of your coins/tokens goes up enough for you to get back the money invested.

I think that's because many investors have read negative news about crypto, but I'm sure there will be more investors coming soon, because they will soon find out that the news is fake. keep on keeping positive thoughts and do not easily pessimistic.

Everything dropped again in the last few days due to Bitcoin increase so be careful with your decisions. I, for one, will not be shaken out of my altcoin positions, I believe it will recover and increase in a few days. Bull markets also have drawbacks, be sure not to sell the bottom of red candles - I cannot stress that enough.

What had you been doing till now when the prices were decreasing ? If are doing short term trading, always put a stop loss.

I trade medium-term, I think it is impossible to catch every green candle and sell before every red one. I sold some of my assets that I didn't like long-term but I will most definitely not sell some because they dropped 10% in 2 days. Patience is key, at least I think so.

do not quite that is how market is some times just hold your coins strong when it eventually go up again you will enjoy it, but if you sell your coins later you will regret it and you will buy coin in high price.

Newbies like you will have a hard time in crypto, when they buy a coin and it dips 10% in one day. However for us this is normal and we are not concerned because we are up so much in terms of roi.

Many think like you, and sell it. Maybe that's what FUD spreaders are supposed to be. You sell when the price is cheap, then they buy it. Some weeks the market gets better and you're regret, then buy it back.

I personally lose quite a some on $hitcoins that I bought earlier of my Crypto days where I thought new projects with small market cap will yield more but turn out their value dropped 90-95%... to name some are ODN, SEND, UNIFY... so choose your portfolio wisely

It is not a matter of concern If you are doing trading from long then you should not worried. Market drops and rise it runs like this. It is not always same or stable as you know its a high volatile market so you should be prepare for that before investing in any crypto currency. Market runs both ways you should have patience until market will start increasing again and If you want to be more safer side then you should invest in only top 5 coins of the market or I can say research about the coin you hold whether its promising coin or not.

This has been the result of having a scam ico or fake icos mate, people skio away that thing to be far from being scammed but don't worry mate, as long as there are good and legit projects, its a good to invest in them.

There is nothing wrong with the current price movements.  The crypt will definitely grow ... The only question is which of the coins to hold onto the market ...

When the prices of our coins go down, it's bad and can not rejoice, but we should not panic in such situations, because for the market, crypto-currency is the norm.

This is becoming ugly to watch. BTC showing signs of bearish trend again so be careful. It is still early to say but supports are being broken across the board and personally, I don't like the direction we are heading. BTC making a lower low is a bad omen, we would really need next support to hold. Otherwise, at least temporarily, it's probably downtrend again.

Do not be impulsive in deciding things. Fluctuation and unstable value is normal, its true that its a little bit depressing when the amount you invested to a particular value suddenly collapsed and decreased its normal value. Don't let your emotion dictate your situation, just to tell you its value can actually be a skyrocket fast in increasing, just wait because no one actually know when it is.

Volatility can and will work in your favor if you buy at support zones or at breakout points. Decide what your entry and exit points are before even doing a trade and never FOMO into a coin. There will always be another chance, maybe not with that coin but for sure with another one. Going full FOMO is the only certain way of losing your investment.

The problem we are experiencing in the market right now which is decreasing the value of investments is that so much money is being taken out of the market and not enough money is going back in to balance out the money being taken out. It will take a while but the market will definitely recover. The volatility involved with cryptos are too high and the price sways often.

Sincerely, this can be a thing f concern. Most especially when you invest so much in a coin, so, instead of see it appreciate in price, it is depreciation. This can lead to serious depression. You can just try as much as possible to hold for some time more. Everything might change any time soon.

At this moment the value is high and still continue to go through in behalf of flactuation but it is not totally affected the economy. I am indulging myself in this activity so I should look it out as positive way because their are diffirent situation will happen.
