Title: Updated Search Bitcoin Web-crawler Post by: jostmey on August 05, 2011, 03:25:31 PM I just finished updating the web-crawler at Search Bitcoin (http://www.searchbitcoin.com/). The old PHP script was failing to keep up with the growing economy.
It has been re-written in Java, and is considerably faster. Many new items will be appearing in the BTC Economy Feed (http://www.searchbitcoin.com/plugins/btc-economy-plugin/) this Monday. Stay tuned. Also, I have written an API to the backend if anyone wants access to the data. Contact me if interested. - Jared P.S. Soon prices will start appearing next to items!
