Hi all Bitcoin is moving around 9K $ from so many days. What do you think it will cross 12k $ in mid may or it will be going down ?? Market are reflecting that there should be an increase in the price. What your prediction ?

When you predict the bitcoin price, history does not matter as much as news and events. [Scammers are the only ones who provide real numbers in a given period.]
If there is no significant news, supply and demand may move price to $ 10,000, but I don't think we will get $ 12,000 soon.
The indicators tend more to one of these scenarios
1. $ 8000 as a settlement point, $ 9500 upper limit and $ 7,000 as a base.
2.  $ 10,000 as a settlement point, $ 11,200 upper limit and $ 9,7000 as a base

The market reflects consolidation, nothing more. It's impossible to expect a further increase without there being an actual bullish indicator in form of a happening or event. It's pointless for the market to even attempt to test $10,000 currently, so it's better for everyone that it doesn't. Right now it's either 50% chance to go up, or 50% chance to go down. It's practically impossible to say anything other than that, because the only thing we can do is guess.

Don't forget that consolidation is always better than a decreasing price, so people shouldn't get bored or annoyed when the price isn't going up. Be happy with the relative stability and try to utilize it by using Bitcoin as currency, because that's what you guys want right? Once there is volatility people complain about Bitcoin not being a proper currency, well, here is your stability, capitalize on it.

And after those days it started to go back to $8,900 and it likes to stay there for the moment.
This month? I'm even thinking that it will cross $12,000. We should see it go hit first at $10,000 and stay there for weeks or more than a month.
Don't expect, the market is unpredictable.

Well when I look at the 4hour chart I see a reverse adam and eve pattern. If this should play out we could go down to 8100-8300.
On the other hand we could also continue ranging around the 9k area before seeing an upwards breakout to 11k-12k.

Yeah, give them a stable coin and they want it to keep going up, without wanting to pay the price of corrections and swings when things don't go their way. I for one think that any dip is good news short and medium term, any consolidation (as it appears to be right now) is good news long term. If anything, a return past 10k and beyond so soon is going to further chip away at my own personal targets since I'd really like for Bitcoin to stay within a solid range for a year before reclaiming the "lost ground" of Q1 2018.

Can't please everyone, damned if price spirals, damned if it doesn't.

Bitcoin is recently stable in the market it is recovering in slowly so it will reach 12k USD in this month end. But next month some fluctuation is possible in the market so reputation is up and down is possible so we don't predict the future possibilities of Crypto market. I think this year it will going to moon in the market.

usually when this happens the people get desperate and sell and the price drops


this will depend on the demand, if we have a lot of demand then the price will increase, but if we do not have much demand then the price will stay and it will fall a little. And we need to keep in mind that the price of bitcoin often increases due to the good news, or the good news creates a great demand, if we do not have good news then we do not have a great price increase

Don't forget that it came from $6,000 and as we can see today it's supported by the price of $8,500 so see it stay at $8,500 - $9,000 is more amusing than to see it stay at $6,000 line.

I'm in the middle of going up and down but $12,000 isn't my feeling for this mid months.

Just wait for the bounce up or the sudden pump that that occurred was already it?

$12,000 is quite far but $10,000 - $10,500 is a possibility.

Well, if we manage to smash through the $10,000 level (which is a very important level that either makes or breaks the short term market), the price will definitely keep pumping further, and I'm sure $12,000 won't be anything special then. I personally am too conservative yet to see the market reach that point this month, but if we do anyway, then expect a solid increase following up on that achievement. Mentally, 5 figure levels are very important, and that directly represents the 'actual' end of the bear trend people consider this market to be in, and while I'm not really into this bear trend thing because I look at the bigger picture, it does make sense.

I believe with your prediction that bitcoin prices will rise up to 12k in May, although it is still today. It's going downhill but I think it's only temporary.

actually bitcoin prices have penetrated the price in the figure $ 9000, but unfortunately, the price can not be stable in that figure. Last 24 hours the price continues to fluctuate around the range of $ 8,980 - $ 9252. AFAIK the price will continue so until the resistance above $ 9,000 is created. if a new resistance is created, then the price will easily move on up to the next level. May month will be the beginning of fantastic progress of bitcoin prices.

$12k or close to it could definitely happen within the next month. But for a stable $12k it'll probably be another two months. There will be at least one pump this month and that could very well take it close to $12k, but then it will correct down to $10000s and by early July it'll probably be fairly solidly at the $12k or higher level.

I seriously think we would be continuing the bear trend by now. Surprised to see the prices are still up, so I do also think one final pump to $10k - $11k could be possible. Guess I'll buy some just in case...

Except bad news come out we are going to hit $12,000 before end of this month. I think we are not going to any bearish market soon as it seen we have hit the bottom last month. Many speculators are saying many things about bitcoin been strap around  $9,000 and we are to see this level as an indecision level that is going to point were we would go next

there is no more reason for the price to go down. we have already had our correction and the drop and then even more drop that we bargained for so it should now have ended. and with the evidence at hand regarding the market and how it has been rising so far we can be sure that it is now on the rise instead of anything else.
with that said unless something big, negative and unexpected happens, we can be sure that price will soon break $10k and continue this slow rise towards the ATH for the time being.

In my own opinion, there might be a dip but it won't be deeper  like the other past months to the extend of reaching $6k or even below. We might see a price of only $8k if the dump or dip ever happens. But if the price will definitely pump, it might probably reach $10k and won't be higher than that. We will only see a price of $12k-$14k at the third quarter of the year.

I feel like that we've hung around the $9k level long enough, and tested the $10k level enough times to say that the resistance at that level is pretty strong still. It would definitely surprise me if no corrections come soon.

$12k was had a big sell wall in the last real run bitcoin had above 5 digits. I doubt that BTC will be able to break it during this rally.

There is simply no momentum, we've been moving sideways, trying to break that barrier at $9500 which has proven to throw prices back to the early $9000s time and time again. This rally is almost as good as over. There is definitely every probability that BTC is going to hit $12k some time this year, just not during this rally.

I think we are about to see a good upward trend for Bitcoin. Because volume is good and whenever it reduced below 9k USD it recovered very quickly

I think 3K $ is very big if your referring in the mid of may because the price is slowly moving.

Well, it depends if. If some traders don't run off to sell in order to to make few or little gains. During the price of $6k, many traders bought and now with the recent price, many will be selling cause they might feel that this is the price they have been waiting for. And moreover,  we hope there won't be much FUD from the government or media that will go on recently that could cause panic and  price dump.

I think there will be a price surge soon it has been accumulating in this zone for a while and I think we are due for a bull run of above 12k$ in mid may we can see those figures. I was watching some analysis video and they also mentioned the catalyst for consensus due to happen in mid may.

Majority of the traders have taken long positions on Bitcoin at the moment. This shows that there will be an uptrend in the price soon. Bitcoin is trading inside an ascending channel right now. If bulls successfully break the support line of ascending channel. we could see an appreciation to $10k level which will further lead to a rally to $12k. But if Bitcoin breaks below the ascending channel, it might find the support at the 20-day EMA, below which it will go downward to $8700 levels which subsequently can lead to a drop to $8k level. But latter is less likely to happen.

Fud will start playing a role again once we're going down. It shouldn't surprise anyone that fud in most cases only pops up just before a correction, or during one. It's called a well timed attack exploiting the change in sentiment. As long as we at least maintain current range, there is no such a thing as fud. On top of that, if we look at all the fud we went through, it wasn't all that bad to be honest. It's as always just people exaggerating the situation due to their panic, because when the price is going down, and thus their investment as well, they can't think clear anymore. It's a smart game that's being played with people's emotions, and it works all the time.

Not because bitcoin price is playing around the range of closed to $9,000 doesn't mean we can make a speculation that it will reached $12,000 this month. I mean why such think of that kind of scenario rather than just wait. Just want to point you out that mindset like that is really not making a sense. I suggest you to disregard that view to avoid expectations as in predictions, anyone can even say that we are going to reached $15,000 tomorrow. Removed that target date because what matters here is, we have lots of reasons to believed that bitcoin price will soon back again at $12,000 or even more.

Chances is yes as always and all things even the unexpected rise is possible to happened but we need to understand that in the middle of "price rally", there is a thing called "gatecrasher" that can wrecked the bitcoin price momentum.

Right now, it is not the time to think about the price going up, right now you need to take advantage of this low price and buy bitcoin, then it doesn't matter when the price increase happens because you will have an even bigger amount of bitcoin in your stash and you will benefit from it, reaching the price of $12,000 could happen tomorrow or it could happen in a year, if you are a long term holder, and if you are not then you should seriously think about to become one, then short term fluctuations will not affect you anymore.

This time around the fundamentals issue are going to determine the direction that bitcoin is going to take. We are at the indecision time and any negative news is going to push the price down and any positive one is going to push the price up. However I am very interested to see bitcoin above $12,000 and hope this happens before middle of this month.

Expected minimum of $9000 in the beginning of May and yes it stays around $9K. I am sure this trend will continue slow and steady with the current ratio. Hope to see the value grow up to $10K by end of May and $11K by the end of June. Expect this December to have a minimum growth of $25K. Lets watch out for it.

Well, one cannot tell what exactly will happen to bitcoin before the end of this month. But some people believe that bitcoin value may reach $10,000 or above before end of this month.

I'm not going to say that it will go down as I'm been always positive to bitcoin's price. Okay see the price now at $9,200 and this can be temporary. Why not just aim first to $10,000 at the mid of this month? $12,000 is realistic and no doubt that bitcoin will be there soon but for the very few time interval I guess it won't be seen there.

Exactly. We also need to see if the pump will be sustainable as well otherwise we will see another drastic and hard fall. That's why I would rather see the price not being pump very quickly. Although we haven' tested it yet because we are just trading sideways apparently, we may see that this mental barrier can be broken if we can sustain another rally.

Smashing $10K is a big psychological barrier, but if we are going to break it, can we at least sustain the pump or not? That's the big question. Let's see and hope that the price can maintain at that levels.

There is no reason why btc is not goimg to go on  a large bull run. Same btc as last year. No one hacked it. No reason to believe it could not be a vehicle for speculation again. Really, 1 mio usd is still possible in a couple of years
