Whoever is controlling the bot is controlling the market. It's sad really. He can make it go up and down at will.

I can tell it's him because his orders blink from bidding and removing.

We've been hearing about rallies just around the corner for over a month now.  While it's possible something gets started, there's so much downward pressure and low confidence that it just seems very unlikely.  There's a better chance we're headed for lower lows and if you play your cards right, you can still make money on the way down.  Betting on a rally right now is just foolishness and wishful thinking.  Sorry.

Don't worry bitches, I'm gonna win the lottery tonight and drop 20 million in to the market for fun.

This guy probably bought hundreds of bitcoins over $20 dollars and is obviosuly dreaming.

If I did win 200 million you could expect the price to soar.I'd even make a post saying buy now I'm about the clear out the ask orders. The only reason I'd do this is make A LOT of people punch a hole in there wall for selling this low.

I'm selling low and buying back even lower then selling on up bumps.  My few K USD are taking a hit but my BTCs are increasing.

Yeah BTCs may drop to $0.00 but I really don't care.  All of the speculation is white noise to me.  I'm just here to play on the slopes.  Kind of like skiing on ones and zeros.  In the end I fully expect my USD to be gone but the entertainment value is worth the cost of a few bucks.  If I can cash out when it begins to bore me with more than I put in then I'll be surprised and will use the windfall on the next shiny object that catches my eye.

Agreed.  I've been saying it's going to be a long, slow slide since shortly after the $30 peak. There's just no pressing reason to use Bitcoins for anything, so it's a pyramid scheme, and those always crash after the peak.

Meh, you're not weird, you're like every other bored geek that's wasting their time here.  Speculation = gambling.  I figure this is healthier than me going to the casinos, smoking a pack or two (just for the novelty factor of smoking indoors... I hate that our society has come to this  :-\), and blowing a grand or two at the tables while drinking myself retarded.

From my perspective there is as much a probability of someone forking the block chain or inventing a better bitcoin as their is of bitcoin gaining widespread acceptance and ascendant valuation. Why should I improve bitcoin vs. inventing my own, better currency?

Also, it's Monday and exchange is currently under $8.

The current Dow and S&P index implosion should provide some impetus to run the hell away from the dollar. It is going to be a fun month, for sure :)
