Title: New to Forum posting, not to Bitcoin
Post by: uttles on November 28, 2013, 04:24:53 PM
I admittedly am not heavily invested in Bitcoin, but it is something I've been following for the last year or so. I tried my hand at mining back when BTC was about $100. I bought a small amount of coins, and a GPU. That GPU is obsolete now, but I was able to mine about 2 coins total.

I thought about pre-ordering some BFLs, but I saw all the complaints and delays, and it seemed to me like the company was just using the preorder money to buy the equipment and do their own mining. I have no proof of that of course, but it was a strong enough hunch that I didn't buy anything.

So instead I took part of my bitcoins and went and invested in mining companies that pay dividends. That seemed much easier and more profitable in the long term. I've read threads on here about these mining companies for a long time, but now I need to participate in one of the threads because the company hasn't given an update in a while since they've transferred to a new exchange.

I think BTC is awesome and wish I had more money to pour into it right now, but oh well, I'm doing what I can.

Welcome,

It's good that you keep your finger on the pulse of Bitcoin.  I think it will lead to profit in the long run.  I have missed my fair share of opportunities to profit but I'm optimistic there will be more to come.
