Wait ten days obviously. You won't get negative trust for being banned unless you already have it.

this happens because you post too much in one day, and the time lag is in use too quickly.
Another cause is also because the post in publishing is considered by SPAM moderator. Wait 10 days ahead.
if you repeat the same error it may be banned permanently

Your *friend* was probably banned for participating in an on-forum altcoin giveaway (given the ban duration and the timing of this thread). As you may have guessed, the ban is temporary. He should wait it out since using any account he owns for anything except appealing his ban would be considered ban evasion.

As others have stated, the Trust system is a separate thing.

what is the intent of giveaway what can be explained?

There is no rule saying you can't post many times per day. The rule is that you can't spam.

But if you're posting 100 posts per day, and you're using up that time lag consistently, then chances are you're spamming.

But if you're writing novels of relevant posts and threads during that time lag, then you won't get banned for it.

That's the way it goes.

OP was probably spamming hard or posting 1-word replies that don't add to the thread like, "I think that's cool."

I've been banned before I reach Full Member rank in which I don't know that shill posting for a certain projects/ICO is against the forum rules I wait for almost 2 weeks if I remember correctly perhaps your friend portrait the same behavior as I had back then and consequently had the same outcome IMO.

I hope your friend didn't spam just to have activity increase.

Wait ten days obviously. You won't get negative trust for being banned unless you already have it.
This^^

If you excuse me, is there any restriction of posting daily or stuff? If I count it correctly then in the last 7 days I have posted more than 100 posts.... Just asking... is that a problem?

PS: I am not spam posting.

I don't think this is much of a problem if you are having real discussions and/or writting constructive posts. I remember seeing a user from the Coinroll sign campaign doing ~150 posts in a week (If I'm not mistaken) and his account looks ok so far.

I have also seen a few users from the same campaign I'm currently participating doing 100~150 posts in 1-2 specific weeks.

Do you have a problem with reading?

Also, just some advice, you are also probably going to end up being banned if you keep posting these garbled replies. It would be smart to somewhat improve your english skills before posting again. Just a suggestion..

Ok BIG relief. Thank you for the response. I can assure the community that I am on discussions. Yes, lately I decided to wear a sig (today my second week will be completed) but for that I only needed 25 posts a week. I enjoy my time here and posting over 100 posts is a direct result of my time I spend for the community.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking me about, but read through this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434310.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434310.0). Someone ran a giveaway that required you to post on a thread, you your *friend* participated in said giveaway, I found the giveaway, trashed it, banned the OP and everyone who participated in it.

This is one of the conditions you had to meet to join the airdrop: "You must Write a review on Bitcointalk ANN Thread about BTCC Project ( Review must be at least 3 sentences)"

Now read what the Global Moderator said above.

Because it's against the rules--that's the bottom line.  I remember this happening before and I also seem to recall the same situation where "friends" created threads asking about the ban.

I barely know another living human being who owns bitcoin, much less have friends in real life who have bitcointalk accounts.  This is very bizarre from my perspective.  My first impression is that these spam/bounty/airdrop rings that exist in entire fucking neighborhoods in SE Asia have gotten way out of hand.  If OP is not from that locale, please speak up and correct me.
Dude this happens. Moderators do view the post history of few accounts randomly. When they find out that the accounts are with low quality posts they do ban temporarily. This gets released as said after the a 10 days. You will not receive negative trust, but will be watch list. Mods would keep watching. Just advice your friend contribute quality posts.  Take time in studying about cryptos and blockchain to
You don't read anything, do you?  Read the reason:

so the reason why my friend got a 10 day ban for following the giveaway was not for doing a weak post. right?

Yes. He was banned for participating in it.
