Title: Does Bitcoin have an official acronym?

I've seen both BTC and BCT used on the forum. Is one of them the "official" way to refer to a unit of Bitcoin?

I've seen BCT from time to time, but it's surely a typo.

BCT is a typo fer sure.  It doesn't make sense anyway.
