Title: [flashmob] Competition idea
Post by: ArsenShnurkov on February 17, 2011, 04:13:23 PM
1) Anyone is invited to write an article on any topic.
You can write an article about your dog, for example. And you can post it in any places (local forums or dog clubs).
Or you can choose any another topic.

2) You should add bitcoin logo and wallet address into the signature of your article (and the link to this topic)
When people will read the articles - they will be able to join flashmob, and write wheir own articles.
Authors will receive donations to their bitcoin address.

3) Anyone will be able to see the results in bitcoint block explorer (because the bitcoin address is constant and published in article)

4) The winner will be determined at 1st April 2011
The winner is the author, who get greatest amount of bitcoins for his articles.

Profit:
 - bitcoins become more recognized
 - maximal number of people can be involved (because there is no restrictions on topic of the article)
 - authors will get an unbiased rating

Interesting idea, but I don't see what this has to do with a flashmob.

Since you can send coins to yourself and no one can tell that seems like a poor way to determine a winner. Maybe everyone could be called a winner and win the number of coins that they get sent?
