Title: Attention NXT Stakeholders/Investors
Post by: Drexme on December 04, 2013, 05:37:01 PM
I welcome you to expand the reach the reach of NXT and make it go global.
We added new languages to our forums and people are already eager to dip their feet it. I want to start a giveaway to get people interested in the coin. But I don't have enough funds to supply them all. If you would like to donate for the cause, just reply with your address and amount donated.

Here is my address: 8333778433828768082

If you want to give it to them personally or start a giveaway, here are the different forums for their languages. If you don't see your language post it at other with your language. We will try to add more languages if the word gets around to other areas.

I think it is a bad idea to fragment the Nxt community.

As BNCnext says:
Why do we need a domain?  Bitcointalk.org is enough.

It's not fragmenting. We are bringing everyone together into one spot and inviting people.
I don't see your or BCNext PoV. If we stick to BCT,org this coin will never expand.

+1 it's better to open here a sub forum, since NXT is a descendant of BTC not an altcoin...

I wouldnt say that.  altcoins are much more closely related to BTC than NXT is.  Besides, this board doesnt offer any specific altcoin forums.  IMO having a special area does help a bit, instead of clogging this one alt board up with tons of NXT threads we have quite a bit of discourse going on over there.  But it is a better idea to keep the main client thread on BCT.org open for expssoures sake.  Im a volunteer nextcoin.org forums moderator completely unassociated with the owner or dgex, Im not even a stakeholder; I just bought some with some BTC and see a way I can contribute.

While the owner of nxtcoin.org has advertised that it is the offical forum, well... I dont know.  They are voting on logo/coin graphics and having the nxt vs next and coin vs no 'coin' and such but IMO the NXT owner and devs should make the call on what is official or not, and they seem to be extremely busy with the client.

Regardless, I think the point here is that the genesis block investors need to start selling some of their holdings, otherwise the currency will never take off.

In theory that sounds good. But keep in mind, new users definitley arent going to want to trudge through a bitcoin forum for info. We need a NXT site for information if we ever hope to get this to nonbtc people.
