Title: ICOs and altcoins with passive income
Post by: pat25 on May 06, 2018, 05:50:33 PM
Hi guys, do you know about some good ICO or already working altcoin, which gives you passive income for holding?
I really like exchange coins like a Kucoin, COSS or Bitpaction.
MinexCoin also gives me profit for holding, and something big is coming in this year! Or Lisk is a good choice.

Share with us your coin and why do you HODL this coin.

You mean passive which means it would be daily or monthly income. I don't see other coins which do recently have these things. I have minex but I sold out when it pumped out. Back to the good old days on where it does really give me some income weekly and monthly and parking rates was good into those times but now they do changed and the coin value has dropped. Good thing I do able to get out before that thing happens.

If you want passive income you should invest in POS tokens and there are a lot of them. Just google for the list. There are also hidden gems such as Accelerator token(ACC) which is also a POS token, it is also a token you can use to mine ethereum. Minex is also a good way to earn passive income, however, the demand is getting low since the interest is about to be changed this month.

Yeah, but they had to do. I think this was important for survival in the future also a lot of new features coming MinexExchange, MinexMarketplace and debit cards...

I think that cryptocurrency is still a risky investment. If you want to get passive income, then just buy real estate. I know a few passive income projects, but tomorrow their tokens could be worth 0$.

The amount of altcoin that has been working is a lot. but I suggest MAN to you.
and if you are looking for ICO, I think CryptoAds is a promising ICO. CryptoAds is a powerful decentralized marketing and advertising platform built on Ethereum Blockchain. And if you look at the existing market, this altcoin has the potential to hold.

Take a look at the existing market leverage..

Global digital advertisement spending will take 44 percent, or $ 269.85 billion, of all ad money spent globally in 2018, with that figure reaching 50 percent, or $ 335.48 billion, by 2020.
Video is the number one fastest growing ad format in the world and has been doubling YoY. Three quarters of all mobile traffic will be used for video in 2023, according to a new report by Ericsson telecommunications equipment company.

Overall, worldwide mobile data traffic will increase to 110 exabytes per month in 2023, according to Ericsson, or the equivalent of 5.5 million years of streaming HD video. It's eight times the 14 exabytes per month we used in 2017.

65% grew traffic data between Q3 2016 and Q3 2017
LTE becomes the dominant mobile access technology in 2017
In 2023, there will be 9.1 billion mobile subscriptions, 8.5 billion mobile broadband subscriptions and 6.2 billion unique mobile subscribers
1 billion 5G subscriptions for enhanced mobile broadband are expected in 2023
14 Gigabit LTE networks have been commercially launched
5G will be highly beneficial for augmented reality (AR) -based industrial applications

Minex is not so good as another exchange site shares just like kucoin shares. I hold only huobi, binance and kucoin. But honestly i'm not taking any advantage to earn passive income from them all. Because i'm only try to choose the coin which give me the best annual return to be my passive income such as NEO, Redd and any other masternodes coin.

When I look on the graph, it seems that Steneum coin is dead, 5 months and price won´t change.
Minexcoin whitepaper said that: "long-term value of the coin is based on its annual growth of 33.6%" - so 15% monthly interest was too high!

if you like coins from exchange, then look at BNB. BNB has a great product, its own exchange and every year continues to grow. can i say binance is a great exchange and worth liking to bittrex or poloniex, this is the reason I chose BNB.

I really loved the Bitcore weekly airdrop of 5%,6% or 7%!! It was really cool to collect some more coins to generate more and more passive income with that 7%. I really worked good for me and I made a lot of money while the airdrop was running. I started to hold Bitcore after their third airdrop. Thank you Bitcore team <3

Each altcoin can be a contender to give you a passive income and every altcoin that you know has the potential to give you this expectation but not all.

I really like exchange coins like a Kucoin, COSS or Bitpaction.
You forget binance coin. This only means that each coin that has legit use and company on operation will be the best coins.

As of now, I have INS coin and SMT coin. I am holding my INS because it is expected to grow fast in the third and fourth quarter of this year. Meanwhile, my SMT coin has no value because it is not yet listed in the major exchange sites. SMT is listed in IDEX but its price is not worth it there.

Token Pundi X: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pundi-x/
Every month, they give dividends for holding on the wallet.
Coin Onion (many are bored ;D): https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deeponion/
The POS runs several times a month from 1000 coins.

Have a look at Nexo and Ethorse. Both pay dividends and Nexo is even SEC compliant.

Also an interesting project is Sharpe (SHP) imo. It’s not real passive income since you have to give predictions on their platform whether stock and crypto assets are going up or down, but if you do this and hold some of their tokens you can get easily some 100$ per month.

ICO are not all the profitable and then project owner would not release the tokens until the marketplace value getting the increasing that time. Whenever you want to invest on the ICO please read the white paper and go towards investment on pre sale time itself.

I am in byteball project around 1 month. It is really one to invest your money mate. I see the byteball value around 200 USD when the market is boom. So you can get the marketplace growth around 30 percentage spike easily.

Altcoins are really need to be picky one. If you invest on centralized cryptos you cannot be sure about the coins will be long lasting or go by selling all coins in the market with the fiat cash so please prefer decentralized minable coins whenever you go to invest on it.

Try researching about master nodes and coins with rewards thru POS such as DIGIWAGE and MAG. The team is very active and the development is very promising for both coins. The ROI of your investment would be within 90+ days and it has the potential to have a breakout in price within this year.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found a hidden GEM called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are already trading on some exchanges, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

This project looks good, but I do not trust in privacy coins, because many of them will die soon, look on Monero it was banned by Japanese government.

There are a lot of coins with master nodes that gives you passive income. Or there is for example neo that gives you gas for holding neo on your wallet. Waves gives you ability to lend you tokens on native wallet. Or you can lend your crypto on margin exchanges. There are a lot of variants.

There are no legitimate projects that will promise you passive income. There will always going to be risks for you because you are holding the coin. You could just hold a coin, do nothing, and wait for it to rise in value in the long run. But that's not guaranteed profits.

Projects that promise you passive income without risk are inevitable going to be scams.

I would recommend getting some BTC and XMR to hold in the long run. They are not PoS which means that there is no interest generated, but I think they have the most real life application and potential to become mainstream.

My favorite passive income coins are ARK and NEO.

ARK is DPOS and NEO is DPOS(ish) ...where you just hold them in your wallet (NEO & ARK) and vote for a delegate (ARK) and you start earning coins proportionate to your holdings.  On average, I get one (1) free ARK a day...doing nothing.

I also hold LSK and it is a DPOS as well but I did not bother voting, my holding is pretty small.

I think a community is an important factor for a successful ICO, the people and the team needs to be friendly and responsive. The one I like the most at the moment is BlockGrain.io. They’re aiming to automate the supply chain with Grain and later on Fruit/Vegetables/Wool. It’s an Australian ICO. The reason why I like them and looking forward is cause they team itself has a background of farmers and they really wants to help farmers to grow.
And their sale is on!!

If you are interested, here is the link to their telegram: https://t.me/BlockGrain

Yes, NEXO will be paying 30% of their profits as dividends among all token holders, but their ICO was cancelled and there was only private pre-sale. I think it is the best project for passive income right now, cause you will be able to pay off fiat loans with your crypto from dividends, which is amazing feature.

There is also Spectre.AI dividend coin and STeX.exchange STE tokens also for dividends.

The hold altcoins and ICOs coins at this time are risky. The exchange rate may decrease at any time, and there is no chance of recovery. Choosing some exchange floor altcoins is a wise choice when investing in it, usually with fewer losses. If you like can hodl a short time to check, if the exchange rate drops you should sell immediately to avoid losses.

I believe NEXO gives 30% dividends, you could check that one out.
Yeah, but NEXO is quitely overvalued now...

Yeah, but NEXO is quitely overvalued now...

How do you judge if it's overvalued? We don't know yet how much ETH will be paid in dividends, but taking into consideration that for every NEXO token you will get some monthly payment, I would say it is still undervaluled. I'm betting this token will reach top 50 crypto marketcap.

There are a lot of coins with master nodes that gives you passive income. Or there is for example neo that gives you gas for holding neo on your wallet. Waves gives you ability to lend you tokens on native wallet. Or you can lend your crypto on margin exchanges. There are a lot of variants.

I suggest you hold WPR or MWAT now. Both of them are released from successful ICO projects. I certainly they continue rising in long term

What is the interest rate per annum would be good to you? It seems to me that passive income is good, but usually it is too small.

Because it is a new project, no good exchange and still platform does not work and current market cap is more than $200 mln...

@Erik Goff

Platform is working already, maybe not with all promised features yet, but the first loans were distributed. Also I wouldn't say it's a completely new project, since they have an established loan business for more than 10 years now as credissimo, and now they are just expanding to crypto space. So it's not a typical blockchain startup where team has to do everything from the ground. Market cap isn't that big for a typical company in loan space. I have a big hopes for this one. Cheers!

I think that cryptocurrency is still a risky investment. If you want to get passive income, then just buy real estate. I know a few passive income projects, but tomorrow their tokens could be worth 0$.
I agree with you that cryptocurrency is not conducive yet for passive income generation as everything is hinged on the price of Bitcoin and as we know it, just one real or fake news on Bitcoin is enough to wipe income accumulated over a period of time. Maybe it would be well worth it by the time the price of Bitcoin becomes stable and I think that time is still afar off.

There are many ICOs has come in the past which has been paying dividend for the holding of token in the form of investment. Likewise, Bankera and Spectre-ai-Dividend Token (SXDT). These company are paying their dividend in Ethereum. Now the price also very low for the SXDT you can buy it now and hold with your portfolio to get a passive income.

Everyone in crypto in general is speculating so it goes that you BELIEVE in crypto if you are here...then looking for passive income coins make sense.

You may be right but anyone with that thinking (lacks belief in crypto), should not invest in crypto either.

regarding the NEO platform, then I completely agree with you. The fact is that the absence of a limit for the withdrawal of coins really attracts users in this form.

Oh, regarding Dash.. you have to invest more than 400 000$ to set up masternodes.. I think it is impossible now, maybe in the past...

Stratis staking wallet gives you the opportunity to earn passive income (pos mining). Although, he, of course, extremely modest. I remember over 1000 stratis brought me with constant working PC  about 1.5 coins. Look here https://stratisplatform.com/wallets/

Pundi X. It gives 7.3% every month. You don't need to lock up your tokens. All you have to do is to have npxs pundi x tokens on your eth wallet for snapshot time, at the end of every month.

if you talk about altcoins with passive income, you should learn about proof of stake and masternodes
for me any cryptocurrency with proof of stake system and implementating masternodes is the best passive income

Bitcore was a great coin that genereated me a lot of passive income while the airdrop was running. Really sad that it ended now, but I hope that there will be some special airdrops for people who still hold their BTX for the long run!

I think there is no passive income from ICO, sometimes big or small income from ICO as well as altcoins.
Depending smart or not we count and know the details of ICO and altcoins.

this is really a good idea, ICO is not an easy way to earn incomes frequently but it really great if we want to have passive incomes,  most of ICO nowadays are scam so it is not easy for an ICO to become success in the future but if it does, investors like us can have huge profit from selling ICO tokens, but we should only invest in ICO the money that we accept to loss if the ICO scammed or failed. that is why investing ICO tokens should be a passive incomes.

I think NEXO is a good coin that can give you a passive income stream, this new coin list on the exchange  but the x3 has shown its tremendous potential.
Here are 9 reasons why NEXO becomes hotter than ever:
1. Team with high professional experience.
2. Have 11 years in the Fintech industry in the EU.
3. There are 2 strategic advisors named Polymath and TechCrunch.

5. In addition, 30% of NEXO's monthly earned income, will be distributed to the Token Holder, based on the NEXO Token hold ratio. This is a passive income, which anyone can receive.
6. Ownership of NEXO Token allows you to access other facilities such as Loan Interest Rates and NEXO Token Loan Limit Preferences.
NEXO offers almost instant loans to users, with advanced security used in the Army for up to 256 encrypted bits.
BitDefender is responsible for the security of all NEXO Encryption Assets. Bitgo is a reputable, high quality brand name chosen by leading trading platforms and organizations: Crypto Upbit and Kraken, CME Group, Pantera and Royal Mint. use information.

It seems to me that today with such things you need to be more careful, because the market is not in a better position, and relatively few people respond to the air cadres with good words.

I hold a bit of this token in my wallet and  last time I checked, I noticed there has been 2 more transfers into the account after the distribution at average interval of 28 days. To take advantage of that, one should start to accumulate as much of this token about every 25 days, but I doubt if that would still be referred to as passive income.
