I've just bought back an SMS alerter for Bitcoin's and Litecoin's prices. It's called BTC WarnCoin BTC warncoin.com (http://warncoin.com) It was designed to be simple, secure and easy to use. It's currently free, as I don't pretend on make money on that, but I'd like it to pay it's costs (like the SMS Gateway, that is not cheap), so if you guys like it, please donate a few bitcoins (or litecoins) to the address on the website. So, what do you guys think of the idea? I want suggestions for improvements, usability, ideas, new tools, etc. I'm also a web developer. If you need something to be developed, let's talk about it! Post by: Rycco on December 09, 2013, 07:04:26 PM Its not technically free for the user because they pay a cell phone bill :-[ Also you dont have a disclaimer saying that users are required to pay any fees through their carrier, so does that mean you will cover the cost of a $0.02-$0.10 text message? Also, there are a few handful of FREE apps on iPhone and Google Play that alert you free and dont use SMS. For me, data is cheaper than an SMS. SMS is a dying service too. I'm cover all the costs by now. If people donate a little bit, it'll be ad-free and free forever. It's free for the user, he only needs a telephone number (who doesn't have nowadays?). The user doesn't send a SMS, that's why is cheaper than data, he only receives it. I pay for my hous emortgage but if someone washed my windows for free I wouldnt bitch its "not free" Butt out if that's all you have to contribute to society. If your still being charged for INCOMING txt, or even outgoing per txt these day's, you need a new contract. That being said, thank you op! Much appreciate this!
