Plus two persons having the Private Key of the collateral opens it up to he said / she said if the funds were to go walkabout. Sure the lender could sweep the coins into their own address but who to say that you wont do the same once you receive the loan? Any reason why you would provide the private key? Maybe you should send the coins to the lender instead of providing it to them.
