Did we set out to make a coin? No of course not. We had an idea, it boiled over into something real and we’ve been on the fly ever since. The real Piedpipercoin (MAID) has been around since 2014 and MaidSafe predates Bitcoin by several years (with crypto design and all). Even Sir Tim Berners-Lee was just talking about SAFE on twitter.
