Can someone explain to me why it would be more useful to use Sexcoin for adult purchases as opposed to Bitcoin?

There's no technical benefit (yet) but I suppose numerous psychological factors are involved. For one, the name! People may just feel more easy to spend this "specialized" coin for such things rather than dipping into the wallet of their precious, "more serious" BTC. From the tech side, no reason yet but perhaps some coins will eventually branch off in future in terms of developing new/specialized features.

Plus at this time it sounds more generous to give, say 100 SXC tip than 0.0001 BTC. Again just a psychological reason.

It may not be more 'useful' atm, but it's the first coin that broke the seal of the market. They got the name good, and demand for the coin is super high. I've seen sell walls of 300LTC+ get torn to shreds within a handful of seconds.

just making a coin is not enough, having the community, marketing , developers, Public relations etc to create awareness and distribution of coins is key.

 So yeah if u create grocery coin and do the above and work really hard on it with a talented team you can make it the go to coin for grocers.

From what i have seen while i followed the coin there is alot of involvement, and a lot of push from the DEVs to the industry. This boost may be what they need to get that push going.  I have a crappy old 6950 i mined these for a while and got about 23k of them, which now looks like a great thing!, i only wish i had more hash power to have gotten more lol.

Yeah it happened to QRK the other day when there was just too many orders, its almost like they stopped processing, but would accept new buys/sells... unfortunately for qrk their rise stopped after that hopefully not the same thing here

I had a hunch about sexoin..I said g=few days ago it would reach easily 20 cents in couple weeks, it reached there in couple of days and I am glad I own 1.5k of them even without being able to mine them because I only have a poxy laptop. I also been tweeting and posting on fb and my friends now buying so maybe all the good press getting the word out. :) I just hope the lavapit Faucet opens again. It is a gamble. Personally I just have 100 of them... It is nearly 30 dollars, an insignificant amount (not for wage slaves who would work around 3 hours to get if of course).



There is no safe money to hold. Some lose value vary slowly, much like the dollar but consistently. There is the safe path (BTC (relatively safe) ) (Dollar (losing its value slowly)).

Holding SXC at this point is pure speculation. I enjoy this kind of gambling and there is a lot of potential even though the crypto has very limited functionality for the porn industry.


Don't underestimate psychology. While this coin was clearly created by greed, it can serve a purpose, however trivial that may seem.

Looks like its trying to catch up a bit there now.... however I am looking at the transaction history of cryptsy, and I see about one every 10-20... this seems kinda ridiculously low. I understand they are high in traffic but coming from a server load standpoint i cannot see how that is loading any server up. Maybe its not showing all of the transactions or grouping some together?

He owns an ...entertainment portal.. , or how the hell you call a website where you get advice what can you do on weekends (theater,movies , etc) :)  and had lots of search for torrents even got DMCA for some pages due to this.
