Hello all! I've been into the cryptocurrency scene for almost 4 years now and into collectibles for almost 2 years. I have always wanted to build my own collectible. Recently, I've saved up some funds and want to give this idea a try. But to get started I need help from my fellow collectors up here.

My initial thoughts are to build a Silver coin with a Bitcoin-based design, although I'm completely open to suggestions from the community. Any help from the community is greatly appreciated. Please put forth your opinion, and make sure you answer the following questions:

1. METAL: What metal would you prefer the coin to be made of? Should it be Silver, Copper or Brass. (Gold seems like a pretty expensive idea, and since this is my first time, I'd rather prefer any of the other three).
2. DIMENSIONS: How large/small would you prefer the coin to be?
3. WEIGHT: How much do you want the coin to weigh?
4. TYPE (Funded/Unfunded): Should the coin be a DIY coin or pre-funded coin?
5. QUANTITY: How much coins should be produced with the design? Should it be limited (to say, like 25 or 50), or be large in production?
6. PRICE: Given the weight you suggested, what should be the ideal selling price for the coin (in BTC).
7. DESIGN: Should the design be based on Bitcoin, or on other coins like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, etc.
8. NUMBERING: Should the coins be numbered?


DESIGN IDEA: Would you prefer a Indian culture based design (say, Indian gods, or any other Indian heritage) or would you rather prefer a cryptocurrency-based design.
PPS: The coins will be made in India, that's the reason I suggested the Indian design. :D

7. DESIGN: BTC but any design..look at Crypto Imperatore and NattyCoin for examples

  Indian culture design is a good idea...better than just slapping a B in front.

Always up for a new coin idea in this space.  Im always up for a silver coin, i like assembled coins myself and a low value funded coin i would vote for.  As far as which crypto, its always nice to add in funded coins from coins that arent generally available, but bitcoin will do.  :D

Thanks wheelz for the contribution. I'm up for suggestions. After I get good number of suggestions from the community, I'd go with the most preferred, based on the response. BTW, would you prefer the coins to be numbered?

I personally like numbered coins if the mintage is limited.  If you do a very large run then i normally dont.

Thanks for the input guys. So, the gist based on the received inputs is:

1. METAL: Silver.
2. DIMENSIONS: ~40mm.
3. WEIGHT: 1 Troy Oz.
4. TYPE (Funded/Unfunded): Funded with small amount (~0.001 BTC - 0.01 BTC).
5. QUANTITY: 100.
6. PRICE: Cost + 20% (or ~100-150$)
7. DESIGN: Bitcoin, Monero, Indian Culture.
8. NUMBERING: Yes!

I'll keep the thread active for 2 more days and will wait for more inputs. In case, they don't arrive, I'll go with the above specifications.

7. I got way too many of Indian God coins. All the silver coins here have those lol but mixing crypto in it might be something cool

IMO there are too many uninteresting just average coins on the market that are just to make a quick buck. If you want to distinguish yourself and get a following you need a great artist. Take a look at Silver Goddess and Samsara for example.
