Ethereum is getting popular day by day. People participating in ICOs they use ETH a lot. Ethereum is a smart contract.

But what does Ethereum do better that any other alt?

I don't feel that ethereum is getting popular day by day as I am a Bitcoin lover and I invest in Bitcoin. But one thing is good in ethereum that can attract people which is its smart contract.

Probably great team and great blockchain. Ethereum is one of the coin icos are using. Which means, this coin is having a great blockchain occuring on itself.

There are some other platform with smart contracts, but not all of them are complete Turing language. Ethereum has all the advantages of blockchain technology, namely free downtime, censorship, fraud, or third party interference. besides that ethereum platform has Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) which is a complete software (turing complete). ethereum will be the toughest competitor of bitcoin.

Yes I agree with that, and again ethereum are still the largest smart contract platform that used by most of blockchain project. Even the other platform are still better than ethereum, but the community & the user of that coin are not as great as ETH IMO.

Ethereum is more often used in transactions such as ICO than in holding long-term or trading. Ethereum is used by many people as a means of payment, of course this is not like other altcoins which are more often used as trading.

Good team, smart money and well-developed model. These are the advantages due to which Ethereum is in its position on the CMC. You can say whatever you want, but to refute the fact that it is in 2nd place you can not.

Eth is a good potential coin. Also, many projects are around the eth blockchain. Also now it is at the bottom. if someone can buy 1 eth at the current market conditions you can earn more at least 4x profit in future. But I can't sure 100% about that. Do your own research.

There are so many examples of scam coins being developed above the ethereum network that we could save time instead by trying to find the projects that are any good, however while I do not like that scammers are using ethereum in that way it was almost inevitable that it will happen, since developers looking to create a great project will probably not do it above the project of someone else.

ETH is  a very excellent coin and it has a great potential . ETH gave lot of profits to their investors so it proved itself and people trust ETH more. I can definitely say that eth is a very  very useful coin to all investors.
