Title: Alternate Mining Pools List
Post by: xhabit on December 17, 2013, 03:03:20 PM
This post is designed as a handy short cut to help you find your favourite pool's forum thread, or shop for a new pool. The hashrate is an average based on a pool's published statistics for the week, unless that pool does not publish round history on API or html, in which case it's the hashrate when the list was updated. I'll endeavour to add more pools as I can.

NOTE FOR POOL OPERATORS: If your pool doesn't appear here please post the pool's statistics as they should appear in the list below.

If any miners need more information than appears in the list, post here. If there are any mistakes, pool ops please post or pm me.

REDUCING REWARD VARIANCE You do not have to mine at only one pool. In order to reduce your income variance, you should mine at multiple pool. As well as reducing variance, this will also help decentralise the network.

This is the first try to generate a alt pools List ;-) Take it easy ;-)
Maybe someone will put also some pool information!

Hi xhabit, this is the right idea just the wrong board. Best move it to the "alt coins" board - then I'll link to it in the BTC Mining Pools List OP.

Looks good though ;)

Edit: Link added to the BTC Mining Pools List OP.

;) move it.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but you as the OP need to move it.

SaltySpitoon, could we get this stickied?

Shame this wasn't found to be more useful - I thought the altcoins community could have used something like this.

Hi,

would be nice to get my pool too on the list.

Miningpool.at - http://www.miningpool.at/ - SCRYPT auto-profit switch pool - 1,5%fee - PROP payouts - no registration - Auto-Exchange in BTC

Would be nice to list it too - thx!

Pool:      Tux's Coinpool
Website: www.altcoinaltpool.net (http://www.altcoinaltpool.net)
Admin Email: jt4590@gmail.com

Coins:    Acoin, Digitalcoin, eMark, Fireflycoin, Peercoin, Zetacoin
Algo:                     Sha-256
PayTX:                  No
VarDiff:                 Yes
Local work:           Stratum
Pay orphans:         No
Min withdrawal:    .01             (It's on auto-payout every hour you can see my stats verify any math)
Payment:             Proportional
Pool Fee:             2%
Proxy:                 No

(I can add other coins quickly upon request)
(I can add other algos quickly upon request)
(I can setup special ports for different difficulties upon request or donation addresses, etc.)

This is my first coinpool and I'm flexible on everything listed here. Right now I'm mining on it myself on Acoin, Digitalcoin, and Fireflycoin. I use the 2% fee to pay for the pool's hardware, which I will be upgrading, and to help support the Fireflycoin developer, Jude. I can set up a multipool as well if anyone would like that.

Bitcoin is also available on the pool, but this information is posted in the Bitcoin thread.

Miner AXMbKjGM4VcoCMTd2wnzxyP8VJvdDfhX3e had trouble with ACOIN today. (DB Column too short)
This has been corrected and I added a full ACOIN to the amount you had already mined in a manual payment.
